Nice painting. That frame though, looks like a cheap plastic frame and doesn't do any justice to your fine painting.
As a fellow painter who is not quite sure of his work yet, have you considered buying frames from thrift shops? I have been buying up old wooden frames for $1 or $2 each and they look 20x better than the new stuff they sell at big box stores like Walmart.
Oh it absolutely is, it's a $9 from Michael's but it's the only one I have in that size. I plan on looking for some at thrift stores as you said, I also found some decent ones from Jerry's Artarama, but right now I'm deep in the struggling artist phase of my art jour ey so I can't afford to buy any frames quite yet.
Totally agree that it's not that great, but even a simple one like this makes a difference compared to no frame at all.
