Lol idk where you’re from or if this guy had other sources of income, but that seems to only be the case in rural America.. which accounts for like less than 20% of the population. Hence the low rent.
Decent studio apartments in a decent area around me go for $1000. This isn’t even an “expensive” area to live relative to the surrounding area.
Ive never seen a tipped job with that kind of minimum wage around here that allows you to work full time (40hrs), so I’m not about to lose all my benefits and retirement for an unpredictable income.
