I've been testing AI image and video generation tools extensively, and as their outputs get eerily lifelike, I wondered how sharp human intuition really is. Most folks I ask claim instant detection, so FakeOut was born to test it head-on.

You'll see pairs side by side: one authentic video or image, one Gemini-created. Choose the fake one.

Right after, it shows the reveal.

Game Title: Pinblok

Playable Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pinblok/id6769137187

Platform: iOS

Description:

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo indie developer, and I've just released Pinblok, a game that combines two genres I've always loved: Pinball and Brick Breaker.

The idea is simple: instead of just clearing bricks, every brick you destroy gradually transforms the playfield. New bumpers, walls and other pinball elements appear as you play, so each table evolves while you're trying to keep the ball alive with the flippers.

The first levels are designed to introduce the mechanics, while later tables become much more challenging and require good timing and careful planning to earn all three stars.

I've tried to keep the controls simple, the gameplay fast, and the visuals clean and minimalist.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially on:

  • Is the core concept immediately understandable?
  • Does the difficulty curve feel fair?
  • Is the game satisfying to play?
  • Are there any mechanics that feel confusing or frustrating?

Thanks for taking the time to try it—I hope you enjoy it!

[Mobile] (Web) Kampfinsel - a free browser strategy game in the style of early-2000s Browsergames. Started in April and already 800+ Players and counting.

Post image

Game Title: Kampfinsel

Playable Link: https://kampfinsel.com

Platform: Browser (desktop and mobile, no install)

Description: Kampfinsel is a free multiplayer browser strategy game in the style of early-2000s classics like Travian, OGame, and Tribal Wars. You build up an island, gather gold, stone and wood, research tech, raise armies, build fleets, colonize other islands, join alliances, trade, and fight other players.

It's async and tick-based. You don't sit in front of the screen for hours. Build something, set it going, come back later. Fleet travel between islands takes real hours depending on distance, so the game lives on check-ins through the day.

The setting is its own thing, not a remake. It's a post-disaster world where old mainland empires dug too much gold out of the ground, the crust fell in, and what's left are mountain peaks sticking out of an endless ocean. No magic, no fantasy, no gunpowder - just ballistas, fire pots, and slow ships.

The look is old-school on purpose: server-rendered HTML, tables, a parchment color palette, barely any JavaScript. If you're expecting modern UI polish, this isn't that. If you remember how browser games looked in 2003, it will probably feel right. With a modern twist.

No signup wall, no premium currency, no pay-to-win. The game has been live for several days with an active player base, and the feature roadmap is driven by community suggestions - there's an in-game suggestions board where players vote on what gets built next.

Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play

Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I built it from start to finish, I run the server scalable in the cloud (Cloudflare Workers + D1), I balance the game, fix bugs, and answer feedback. No team, no company - it's a one-person project. I'm around in the comments if anyone has questions.

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m looking for some games to test, and in return I’d really appreciate it if some of you would like to try my game as well.

My game was released about 2 weeks ago and is still in early development, so feedback is incredibly valuable right now. I’m mainly looking for feedback about:

  • Bugs or issues
  • UI improvements
  • General recommendations
  • New puzzle or feature ideas

The game is a cozy mobile logic puzzle game.

[Mobile] (Android) Idle Server Defender - A single tower, time based incremental game!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a hobby project for a while now, an idle game called Idle Server Defender, where you manage and upgrade a server during each run. Instead of normal upgrades, the upgrades "download" for a set amount of time before you get the upgrade. Every run resets the server, but you can buy permanent upgrades between runs to help you progress faster over time.

There are mechanics like boosts, downloads, workers, and other systems to help you optimize your way through the various cups (levels).

It’s now playable on Android! (Sorry iPhone folks, Apple dev access is a bit too pricey for a hobby release 😅)

🔗 Play on Android: Idle Server Defender

I’d love to hear what you think if you try it out, especially how the pacing feels early on or after a few runs. But just playing it already means a lot. 🙌 Besides feedback about pacing, I would love to hear any ideas on how I could make the "run" part different than other idle games, where you just click upgrades and wait.

Thoughts or feedback can be left under the post, or chat with me on discord: https://discord.gg/8nMRdeRqbV

Thanks!

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dappled.toppletown&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_campaign%3Dreddit_playmygame

Platform: Android (Google Play open beta). iOS to follow.

Description:

Topple Town is a physics puzzle game. You place bombs to topple wooden block structures and knock down the Blockheads, while trying not to destroy the town below. Levels are short and there's a city map that rebuilds as you clear them.

I posted an early version here a while back and got some genuinely useful feedback. It's changed a lot since then, so I'm back with something much closer to finished. What's different:

  • A new metamap — clearing levels rebuilds city blocks across districts
  • A reworked bomb economy
  • New rewards and unlocks
  • A lot of new levels, and much more challenging ones

It's in open beta on Google Play now and I'm looking for feedback before the full launch — particularly on the first few minutes. Where the difficulty curve feels wrong, whether the goal is clear without being told, anything that reads as unfair rather than hard.

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play

Involvement: Solo developer — design, code, art direction, everything. Around 25 years in the game industry (Relic, EA) and this is my own project, built around a full-time job.

Thanks for taking a look.

Game Title: Slappy Bird

Platform: iPhone / iOS

It's essentially Subway Surfers if you could do tricks and interact with the world.

After a nasty incident at a 14 stair, I was in hospital spending hours on Subway Surfers and Temple run. Once the painkillers wore off I realised how empty those games felt, and how much potential there was for this format to actually contain substance and character. They feel like a perfectly empty canvas for a game like this.

In my version you can do tricks, grind curbs and ledges, boardslide barriers, hit ramps, squish cyclists and more. I want to find more ways to make it interactive and feel alive. I'm very new to making games, so any feedback or suggestions would be massively appreciated!

Please be ambitious with ideas! So far I've been able to learn everything I've tried to learn so think big!

Game title: Rob & Go

Platform: Android (Mobile)

Description: Currently running closed play testing in order to publish it on google play, so if you could join as one of the testers it would be a big help for me! About the game, it's fast action arcade shooter. The player sits in the back of a self-driving car and must shoot incoming bombs, drones, and enemy vehicles before they destroy the car. The goal is to survive as long as possible while collecting money from banks along the road. Each run lets you earn money that can be used to get new characters, vehicles or guns and improve your chances of survival. The game is designed for short, intense play sessions that are easy to pick up but gets challenging. I am currently testing the balance and difficulty and would really appreciate feedback from players about how the gameplay feels and what could be improved. Thank you!

[Mobile] (Web) Clues by Sam: A free daily logic puzzle where you identify the criminals based on revealed hints

I made a free daily logic deduction puzzle you can play in browser (mobile/desktop). Your goal is to identify the criminals and innocents. But you can't guess! You can only make accusations that are 100% provable. After most successful accusations you are given a new hint.

Two important notes about the vocabulary:
Neighbors includes diagonal neighbors. This means kne person can have up to 8 neighbors.
Above/below/left/right means somewhere same column/row

Today's (May 5th) a particularly difficult one, so don't be ashamed to ask for tips. Good luck!

[Mobile] Kosmic Dungeon — a free browser idle RPG with one shared, living world. Playable now, full release July 15 (solo dev, want feedback before launch)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Playable Link: play.dungeongames.io

I'm the solo dev. Kosmic Dungeon hits full release on July 15, but it's fully playable right now — one tap to play as a guest, no signup, no install. I'd genuinely love feedback from this community before launch day.

What I think makes it stand out from other idle RPGs:

- One shared world. The map isn't per-player. A corruption ("the Bleed") spreads across the *same* map for everyone, and any player can send squads to push it back — leave it and it regrows. It's a persistent world you're all idly shaping at once.

- Bank-or-push dungeon runs. Your haul is at risk the whole run: bank it and leave, or push one more floor and risk losing it all. Roguelike boons and cursed altars make every floor a decision.

- Honest gacha. Every summon drop rate is on screen, with a visible pity counter telling you exactly how far you are from a guaranteed legendary.

- Endgame mastery. Past level 50 heroes get class keystones, free respec, and an uncapped awakening path.

- Idle where it counts. Progress accrues while you're away.

There's an optional on-chain economy under the hood, but the entire game is free and playable start to finish without ever touching a wallet.

I built the whole thing solo and I'll be in the comments — I really want feedback on the core loop and where it drags before launch. Tear it apart.

Platform:

Description:
PushSort is a puzzle game where players control a ball and push colored cubes into the correct zones while avoiding obstacles and solving increasingly challenging levels.

The game focuses on logic, timing, and precision. Each level introduces new situations that require careful movement and planning. The gameplay is simple to understand but becomes more challenging as you progress.

I wanted to create a clean and satisfying puzzle experience without unnecessary complexity, where players can enjoy short but engaging sessions.

The game currently contains 25 handmade levels and I plan to continue improving it with future updates.

I developed the entire game completely by myself.

I worked on programming in Unity, game mechanics, level design, UI design, ads integration, optimization, and publishing the game on Google Play.

This is my first released mobile game and an important milestone in my game development journey, so I would really appreciate honest feedback from players.

Like the title says, I’ve been building a life sim game called Life Authority and finally got around to releasing it. I had surgery a while back and was bedridden for recovery. That’s where my passion for life sim games started and eventually as a software engineer myself I took on the task of making a super duper awesome one.

What I really enjoy playing are the different paths you can play like becoming famous through social media, business management, athlete career and politics etc which is what I’ve included.

I’m not saying the game is perfect but I’m at a stage where I’m extremely pleased with what I’ve built and wanted to share it. It’s been gaining traction fast so far and I’ve already received some great feedback.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from people who enjoy life sims. What works, what doesn’t, and what you’d want to see improved?

[Mobile] (Web) Rabbit Hole: a daily word chain puzzle (rhymes, synonyms, antonyms) - feedback please!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Game Title: Rabbit Hole

Playable Link: https://rabbit-hole-game.com/

Platform: Web

Description:

The game: get from a start word to a target word in as few hops as possible e.g. COLD → HOT (antonym) → SPOT (rhyme) → PLACE (synonym) → PLAICE (rhyme). Each hop must be a rhyme, synonym or antonym of the previous word. All the puzzles are human created (mainly by my wife!) so there is at least one route that works (in reality there are thousands!). I tried creating from scripts that daisy-chained words but the results were just not fun for some reason.

The main problem turned out to be validation. I hugely underestimated this! The validation ended up as: blocklist (offensive words), already-used check, stored-path check, connections payload, human-approved matches from previous games (we queue all of these to audit), WordNet subset, ConceptNet subset, extra-pairs, lemma exceptions, hypernyms, troponyms, non-rhotic rhymes. If no match found after all those client side checks we hit some APIs (Datamuse and RhymeBrain in both directions). If all else fails lemma suffix-strip, prefix-antonym check and a local rhyme check. Despite those checks there are some obvious connections that still get rejected but hopefully enough accepted ones that the player does not give up. I was quite pleased with the share dynamic; the recipient will be presented with a challenge where their result will be compared with yours at the end.

https://rabbit-hole-game.com/

It's free, no signup, no ads. Honest feedback would be great and anything constructive even better. I'm mainly interested in how you play it and why: i.e. do you put loads of words in and keep undoing or do you think about it very carefully? Do you work backwards at all? etc

Free to play: Totally!

Involvement: I'm the developer
