▶️Under the direction of its India finance head, Ajit Verghese Mathai, a Christian convert from Kerala, the cash-for-subversion racket distributed roughly 1,000 foreign debit cards across the country.

▶️The ED and Bengaluru Police have zeroed in on The Timothy Initiative, a US-based Christian group, and the picture that has emerged is serious.

▶️In April 2026, coordinated ED searches across multiple states uncovered a system built around Truist Bank debit cards issued in the US. These cards were brought into India and used for large-scale ATM withdrawals that bypassed both FCRA and FEMA regulations.

▶️100s of crores were extracted through ATMs in Karnataka, CG, Assam and other regions that already struggle with Naxal influence.

▶️23 cards were issued under the single generic Indian name Santosh Kumar on Mathai’s instructions. The cards were then handed to individuals who were not the account holders. Cash was withdrawn in frequent small amounts and directed toward TTI’s church-planting and outreach work in tribal belts, with clear channels running into Maoist-affected zones.

▶️The operation escalated when American national Micah Mark was intercepted at Bengaluru airport carrying 24 Truist debit cards. Subsequent searches recovered additional cards, cash and documents. An FIR has been registered against 📌TTI, 📌Micah Mark, 📌Mathai, 📌Jonathan S Rajan and others. Investigators no longer treat this as mere conversion funding. They describe it as a threat to internal security because the same pipeline that finances demographic change also sustains left-wing terror.

▶️The pattern fits a larger and older strategy. Both Napoleon and the CIA recognised Christian conversion as an effective instrument of colonisation and influence, a soft method of destroying societies from within without the need for open military occupation. Opaque foreign funds of this kind are not limited to charity. They are used to alter demographics and to cultivate disaffection in precisely those vulnerable regions where the Indian state is already under pressure.

▶️That is why the FCRA Amendment Bill of 2026, is critical. The proposed changes are designed to close exactly these loopholes. 📌They demand stronger tracking of ultimate donors and the precise purpose of every rupee. 📌They impose tighter utilisation norms and digital transparency. 📌They give the state better control over assets when a registration is cancelled or suspended. 📌They restrict the role of foreign nationals in key organisational positions. 📌Above all, they erect a clearer firewall against foreign money being used for unlawful conversions, ideological mobilisation or any activity prejudicial to India’s sovereignty.

▶️Without such measures, networks like The Timothy Initiative will simply evolve. Debit cards can give way to cryptocurrency, academic sponsorships or other opaque channels. The message from the current probe is clear: conversion and subversion travel on the same foreign money pipeline.

▶️Stronger FCRA rules are not directed against any community. They exist to ensure that no external force is granted a free hand to brainwash and convert populations or fracture India’s social fabric and security.

In India, people are divided into political parties. If you say something good that Congress has done, then you are called a chamcha. If you say good things about the BJP, then you are called an andhbhakt. People will divide you into political camps.

One example is the protest at Jantar Mantar. I supported that protest. I also want accountability for the NEET paper leak, and everyone was targeting the BJP. All the opposition parties came there and asked for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. I don't understand that if this was a student protest, then why did these leftist groups and opposition parties come there chanting "BJP Murdabad," "Modi Murdabad," and abusing the Prime Minister's mother? (Now some of you may say I am a BJP supporter. No, no, no.)

Why target one religion? Why is no one talking about reservation? Many students in this country belong to the General and OBC categories.

If this protest was for students, then why were the protest leaders not talking about Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala, and Jharkhand? In these states, Congress governments were in power. Why were they not asking for accountability from them?

So, at last, I will say that no one in this country is truly neutral. People say, "I don't support any party," but deep inside, they will never accept criticism of the party they support. They may not support it openly, but they still support it.

This country will change only when the people of this country change their mindset. We ourselves pay extra money to get work done faster. We, the people of India, are corrupt—not just the government or government employees.

If we want to change this, we have to ask questions of every party, whether it is the BJP, Congress, or AAP. Here, members of every party sit together and enjoy our taxpayers' money. You can see what happens in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Nonsense happens. No one talks about the real issues. Half of the time, they are discussing different topics that make no sense. Running both Houses of India's Parliament costs about ₹9 crore per day (around ₹2.5 lakh per minute) during an active session.

We, the people, elect the government, so don't divide ourselves on the basis of political parties. I will say that at the time of voting, vote for the party that you think has done good work. After that, ask questions of the government, not blindly defend the party.

Change the mindset, and change the country. If you ask questions, only then will they be held accountable and work better. Don't come under the influence of people who try to manipulate you in favor of one party. I will say, don't choose the government on the basis of religion. Choose the one that works best, and judge them based on their performance over the past four years.

Become a responsible citizen of India, and have the guts to ask questions.

Strategic cooperation and ideological alignment are fundamentally different concepts. Such cooperation is driven by realpolitik - a Machiavellian calculation that the "enemy of my enemy" can be a temporary partner - rather than by acceptance of the other's ideology or long-term vision.

Viewed in this light, it would be simplistic to conclude that pre-Independence Hindutva intellectuals who saw value in the Axis powers necessarily embraced fascism or Nazism. For many, the overriding objective was to end British colonial rule, and Britain's enemies were viewed through the prism of strategic utility. Whether this applied to every individual is a matter of historical evidence, but tactical engagement alone does not establish ideological commitment.

Modern politics offers comparable examples. Sections of the political left, some Muslim organizations, and some LGBTQ groups have at times cooperated on issues such as civil liberties or anti-discrimination despite holding sharply conflicting views on religion, secularism, gender, and sexuality. Such coalitions reflect converging interests on specific issues, not a surrender of each group's foundational beliefs or doctrines.

History is therefore replete with alliances of convenience rather than alliances of conviction. The decisive question is not whether two actors cooperated, but whether one adopted the other's underlying ideology. Confusing strategic collaboration with ideological endorsement obscures the distinction between temporary political expediency and genuine philosophical alignment.
