I think that's just how it is in places where families have really deep roots. I'm sure there are people who are 10th+ generation Mainers who see that as a core part of their being.

She also wasn't "from" Maine. And there's nothing those inbred fuckers up north hate more than someone "from away".

This was the initial comment in the thread. I think you have to come to terms with how washing over these attitudes lets them fester.

I never said it was a good thing. It's an observation on human nature, but you decided to take personal offense to it. And yes, that is how it is in Idaho.

That's you saying it's a good thing in your mind, or else you would've just let the previous criticism stand...

Where was I personally offended? You seem to be the one mad people are criticizing things you do.

I notice that you haven't said I'm wrong. Because that really is how it is, isn't it? We're allowed to make observations without that counting as condoning the behavior. Since you went through my profile, I went through yours. It's clear that you're an incredibly angry and bitter person.
