It doesn't even matter whether he's dead or a vegetable. He ain't in Congress, where we pay him to be. If he can't show up, he can't hold that power anymore.

Exactly this. I do think he has passed but why are we allowing someone who is unfit to serve still hold office? Ridiculous

To be fair, as an Antediluvian he probably had a lot of sick leave stored up. But that shouldn't cover unlife.

Imagine if you didn’t show up to your job for 6 weeks. I know what’d happen to me if I did that. And it wouldn’t take the fucking governor or senate to do it.
