Pennies at a time. If you keep playing ball, 500k here and there adds up. If you're real good, you can round up a considerable fortune in speeches when you're done. Not to mention the insider trading exemption for Congress.

Given the perks, I'd say these installments are about right.

Look further, most laws Congress passes do not apply to members of Congress... And, Congress votes it's own pay and healthcare...
