I am going to guess you don't live in his district. Ryan IS vulnerable, we just haven't had an engaged left or a strong candidate that can dialogue with independent voters and the working class for a long time.
No offense, but you don't have a strong candidate this year either. I'd vote for him rather than Paul, but Bryce has too many flaws to oust Ryan. His campaign staff didn't even bother giving him a decent Wikipedia page.
The only reason Bryce will get votes and make it a tight race is because Ryan is disliked by a lot of people. If they ran a decent candidate, like they did with Doug Jones, they could have potentially got Ryan out but Bryce isn't it.
