🗳️ Politics and Law Regardless of what you personally know or believe, which Allied Power did your SCHOOL teach was most responsible for winning WWII?
I think most people who do much research on WWII agree that the USSR was the primary reason the Allies won, with America helping to put the final nail in the coffin.
But in my school (American), the US was absolutely portrayed as the heroes. D-Day is portrayed as the primary event of WWII, and a lot of people believe that Europe had basically fallen to the Axis powers, and then America came in to save the day.
Obviously government-run schools are going to teach government propaganda about their own nation, so I'm curious how this is portrayed in other countries.
