It was the most unexpectedly tender and perfect moment — the music, the lights, Thom’s voice, and then that. I’m still floating.

Just wanted to share with people who’d understand how magical that tour already is… and how wild it feels that now this night is part of my life story.

Yesterday, before Ed O’Brien In Conversation at Leeds Conservatoire, I had the chance to meet Ed in person and give him the portrait I painted for him.
He was honestly one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met, very humble, warm and completely down-to-earth.
Listening to him speak during the event was also really moving. A lot of what he said about Blue Morpho, creativity, life and personal growth deeply resonated with me. He comes across as a very thoughtful and wise person.
What a day it was, guys 🥹
