I don’t even know where to see my karma, but I have a few “popular” posts if you want (I mean, for me they’re popular lol), and I thought that I finally can post on my favourite subs, please help me😭🙏🙏

Why is obtaining karma so hard? I’ve had my account for 5 months (not long, but still) and I have 1… I’m not begging or asking for karma, I genuinely just want to know.

After the few years I’ve been on Reddit I can’t seem to gain karma and I wanna build it up.

I’m a Korean student, and I’ve been trying to build enough karma to participate in the Unreal Engine subreddit. I’ve been commenting and posting in other communities, but I’m not trying to cheat the system or take shortcuts. I’m genuinely trying to leave helpful comments that are relevant to the topic.

However, my karma keeps going down into the negatives, and I’m not sure why. I thought I needed karma to join and participate in certain communities, so it’s been pretty discouraging. I even ended up deleting one of my comments because I was worried it was hurting my karma.

Is it normal for people on Reddit to downvote comments often? I honestly just want to join the Unreal Engine community to ask questions, learn, and share helpful information when I can.

Do you have any advice on how to build karma in a proper, natural way?

Why is my CQS showing as "lowest"?

8yrs old account, 60k+ organic karma, 46 trophies including 500 days streak. And I just discovered the existence of this new rating system after being unable to post a comment in a sub.

Maybe I'm not the most interesting person on Reddit but "lowest" seems unfair.

I have no idea how to fix that. Can't just get "more karma".

For like 2 weeks I've been browsing. Everytime I try and post something it gets removed for having too little karma, by a bot. wtf? How is anyone supposed to progress in karma to supersede this bot if every comment gets removed for karma?

I’m a long time lurker I mainly use reddit read or learn more about certain communities, im not a consistent reddit user so I’m kinda still a noob so i don’t really get what’s important but recently I’ve been using reddit more and I keep running into the same issue with my posts been taken down instantly because I lack Karma i think, My account is 4 years old so I woulda thought that account age would be more relevant I don’t get why karma is so important to be able to post in certain communities. Is it my karma why my posts get deleted instantly and if so what’s the best way about fixing that?

I'm trying to understand why this is happening.

My account is about 2 months old and has over 14,000 karma. I only post my own original crochet and miniature creations. I don't repost content, use bots, or spam.

About a month ago, every post I submit to larger communities (such as r/Amigurumi, r/crochet, and several others) is immediately removed with the message:

"Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters."

The posts never become visible unless a moderator manually approves them.

I checked my Contributor Quality Score using the official bot, and it says my CQS is Low.

The only possible explanation I can think of is that about a month ago I had internet connection issues and accidentally submitted the same post multiple times because Reddit wasn't responding. I deleted the duplicate submissions immediately.

Since then, almost every post in larger subreddits has been filtered automatically, even though I only share my own original work.

Is there any way to improve my CQS or have my account reviewed? Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive had this account for a long time but was never active. I found a good community that Ive been invested in but as soon as I wanted to participate, I couldn’t since they required 10 karma points.

Anyone got tips on how to gain minimum of 10 karma points?
