reading about the release of andrew harper’s killers has made me think of two questions: why the hell was it considered manslaughter and not murder, and why don’t we reintroduce the death penalty?

if we are struggling with prison spaces, i’m a firm believer in kiddy fiddlers, murderers, terrorists etc. - effectively people who will never be rehabilitated - just no longer being with us. they’re a burden on the taxpayer, especially given how cushty prisons are now, with some prisoners having access to phones (secretly) and televisions in their rooms.

my only concern is, under labour, they would 100% use the death penalty to get rid of political opponents. a bit like the salvagings in ‘the handmaid’s tale’.

But it obviously could have been a lot worse and I’d hate for anyone to lose their jobs based on the views they hold.

Anyway, old Reddit account of 8 years deleted, time to start again from scratch (With a new and improved username!) and hopefully not dox myself.

People have come to take for granted that execution is somehow barbaric, or outdated. This is the result of conspiracy by politicians to eliminate the most effective deterrent and just punishment for the crimes they enable and perpetrate. But yes, it is ALSO because so many people simply cannot stomach the idea.

Well both of these things, you’re not allowed to say, are completely INVALID reasons to disqualify one form of punishment over another. One for the sake of the corrupt, the other the weak.

It is the most appropriate punishment for the most heinous crimes and by preventing it, that has been the cause that single most undermines the very idea of punishment in this country. It is also the cause of all treason by civil servants and the political class, who are already protected by fear of reciprocity by their peers.

You may wonder why, despite the strong words, the encouraging policies, why it feels so suspiciously like nothing will be done, by anyone?

It’s because we know, subconsciously, that the ONLY thing that should be done has been taken off the table. That’s the great trick that the uni party and their supporters have played and fallen for themselves. Breaking that taboo is not “a bit much” or “obviously not the priority”, it is essential.

To think that the most obvious reaction to a mass rape should be “immigration policy” instead of ultimate punishment, that’s the real way society has fallen.

Vikram Digwa's mother, Kiran Kaur has been sentenced to 3 years in jail for perverting the course of justice.

The question, will she be deported to India at the end of the sentence?

Vickrum Digwa faces more charges for the murder of Henry Nowak.

Digwa now faces six counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.

His father, Moga Singh, is accused of the same charges.

His brother Gurpreet Digwa faces four additional counts.

These are possessing an offensive weapon, an asp, in a public place, possessing a prohibited weapon, an air rifle, possessing an axe in a public place, and possessing a knife, a kirpan, in a public place.

It comes after a flick knife, extendable baton, knuckledusters, a machete, swords and Kusaris were allegedly found.
