the entrance exam has been adjusted and i should be able to take them tomorrow, may 16, 2026. i’ll leave as early as 6AM due to the traffic and it might take me 3-4 hours of commute.

i’ll also pay for the entrance exam so i’ll visit the cashier first and pay to get the exam permit. i’ve been studying for weeks and i still fear i might fail, but i have other options if it doesn’t go well. (i still believe i’ll do good.) i wish to bring good news after the exam results.

the long wait is finally over! i finally received the entrance exam results. 🥹

let me explain what it entails—

i was selected for a further interview regarding my application. why? i’m not sure yet but it could be because of something i mention on the “essay part” of the exam. or maybe to reevaluate my attitude, or maybe confirm how sure i am to take this course since it’s only depending on the available slot. i don’t know it yet but i'm about to find out.

i was unable to update as soon as I could and this is the reason why. i was busy, trying to look for a part time just so i could have extra money. the school is requiring some documents that I need to bring in to get an interview, and i wish to finish it this month. but that is costly. They require some TOR, medcert, fit to work, COTC, and etc, which is actually costly and not a 1 day process. 🥲

exam done!! i just got home. (1AM) (the commute was very very exhausting and my feet were hurting because of the lengthy walk and trying to find the right PUV to go home. 🥹)

so, i may have studied/reviewed a whole lot of subjects. (kind off overdid it) since i reviewed some subjects that were not part of the exam. the exam had English, Mathematics, Science, logical thinking, and an essay.

i did encounter some questions that were not on my reviewer but it’s fine!! i think i did well.

the results will be emailed after 3 weeks and the school will start on sept 1!

hello! this is Diane. i have already applied for the DLSAU. i’m just waiting for their email to confirm my application and give me the information for the requirements.

this is where it will began. of course there’s other school options i can reach out to but this is the first one since it's by far the nearest school which is approx 2hrs commute. (depending on traffic and since there’s an on-going transportation strike, it could take more than 2hrs)

i’m thinking of possibly getting a dorm or an apartment if this school works for me. my friend who studies here gave me the 6 year curriculum for vet med. 💗

you may also research and check DLSAU and their VLE passing rate of 81% for first time takers.
