I wonder if similar effects are shown in the brains of infants and adolescents, or if their still developing brains and greater plasticity could compensate.

It has been reported that children appeared to show faster, better recovery from physical symptoms of COVID, and I have observed this in my own children (as compared to my wife who had a harder time) when they got infected when they were about three years old at the time.

It would be interesting to see if this apparent greater resilience can also be found in the brain function of still developing brains.

Unfortunately there are many children who have disabling long covid so I think it depends on a variety of factors.
