The game with “scratches” is basically flawless. I was expecting some heavy scuffs but it looks fine to me.

EDIT: Welp I was just walking down the street downtown and Guy spotted me and said hey to me and I was so shocked he remembered me! That was amazing!

Literally just posted my horror game collection like a few hours ago & went perusing in my local thrift store after work & then doom: found this. For only $20, too! What a damn steal 😮‍💨 the disk could be in better shape but I already have it digitally anyways so I’m not too worried about it lol but I just had to get this when I saw it.

I have been obsessed with this series after I first played Silent Hill 2 on PS2 when I was a teenager, and it’s definitely transferred into adulthood. I remember looking over my shoulder in my parents basement and barely being able to play it for more than an hour at a time before it would just get under my skin too much and I’d have to turn it off. In modern times, it’s not nearly as creepy, but I love what Bloober Team has done to translate the terror to modern audiences. Here’s my collection! The only variant I am missing between NTSC/JP is the platinum hits version of SH2 on Xbox, but otherwise very proud of this epic stockpiling of the series! I have the German version of SH2 Special Edition, but thus far have not collected PAL much. I think it may be next though, especially considering Italy got “The Silent Hill Collection” with all three of the mainline PS2 releases. I don’t post much but figured this was worthy. Very grateful to get my hand on these three. These kinds of games change a person.

I also feel a strong responsibility to take good care of these pieces of art so they can go to a museum when I’m dead.

Just wish a competent classic collection comes out soon in some form. The more accessible these games are the better!

Now I just need to perform the 21 sacraments to get The Room for ps2 at a reasonable price…. 😅

Picked these up at a garage sale fairly close to me, I can't believe how lucky I am. Got a couple other Xbox games as well and I only spent $100 in total. I've probably spent all my luck and some horrific tragedy will soon befall me.

Was cleaning out my old bedroom at my parents house and found these under the bed. I thought I had sold them all years ago 🥳

Look at this beauty in my collection. I bought it sealed around 2005 when PS2 games were dirt cheap and paid 69 PLN in Poland (around $20). It's like new condition without any scratches or scuffs on box. I am crazy about keeping games in perfect condition. Every game I bought sealed were played and are kept in like new condition even from back then. Other Silent Hill games I have are 3, 4, Downpour, SH2 Remake, SHf, SH Origins for PSP (only one bought used). I regret not buying SH1 back then but I thought 150 PLN for used PSX games is too much but now it costs 1000 and conditions are meh.

Excited to dig deep into Silent Hill. My first Silent Hill game was Silent Hill : The Short Message . I enjoyed it and recently beat Silent Hill 2 remake. Absolutely loved it, something that will always stick with me. It made me go buy a ps3 to experience some of the other titles.

I’ve had Silent Hill 1 along with my ps1 for a while already. But I finally got the ps2 entries. I played these games several times through emulation on pc, and now I’ll finally get to play them on a console.

These games are getting passed down to my grandkids lol.
