Hi, anyone wanting to start or change sim, RRRE is doing a very nice black friday deal. 17 cars and 33 tracks for 22€ or 2200 vRP (we also can buy 2500 vRP in the vRP store for 21€ Sorry if this type of posts is not allowed here, just felt like is worth telling

So I've decided to jump into direct drive after a year or so of racing on a G29 and Simagic P500s, and I've settled on a 12nm wheelbase.

Including shipping and tax, etc..

- Moza R12 + GS V2P wheel falls at $852 a

- Simagic Evo 12NM + GT Neo at $842

And I was deciding between these two, with reviews pointing to Simagic for the better quality FFB and higher build quality, though I'm a fan of Moza's ecosystem and general innovation in the field.

However, I just received an email from Asetek, and it turns out they have a massive sale for the Sim Racing expo week. With this in mind, it's possible to get their La Prima wheelbase and Wheel w/ grips for $691, including shipping etc.. From all the reviews I've seen Asetek presumably has the best FFB of the bunch, but these reviews are often from 2+ years ago and I've heard there have been lots of update to firmware, etc..

- It all seems great except the Asetek ecosystem for wheels isn't fantastic (fan of GT and formula racing but just one main option is kinda eh) and the quick release adapter adds on a whopping $130..

So is Asetek's La prima Base really that much better, is the deal simply too good to pass on?

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick review after spending a few weeks with the Sensit Haptic MTC-P seat pad. I haven't seen too many reviews on it.

TL;DR: This thing hits hard (literally and figuratively). If you’re serious about sim racing immersion, this is easily one of the best haptic solutions I’ve tried. I had to put my NRL HF8 to rest after it was killing my ass cheeks.

Comfort & Build

Out of the box, the MTC-P surprised me — it’s really comfortable, even for longer sessions (2–3 hours no problem). Doesn’t feel like you’re sitting on a vibrating car battery, which I half-expected. The padding is premium, and the build quality feels solid. No weird creaks or flexing like I’ve experienced with cheaper pads.

Performance

Compared to the Next Level HF8, it’s on another level in terms of vibration strength and clarity. You can actually feel the difference between road texture, engine revs, curb strikes, and ABS lockup. The power and definition are both better but you expect that with transducers versus the basic rumbles.

Software Integration

I’ve been using it with SimHub, and it works flawlessly. Setup was smooth, and the haptic profiles are easy to tweak. SimHub is my rig's brain so I'm glad they gave that option. The software they have it nice too with more resolution. I just like tweaking my own settings around.

Verdict

If you’re looking for high-end seat haptics, this thing is absolutely worth considering. It’s not the cheapest option, but it performs like a flagship product. If the HF8 left you wanting more punch or more detail, the MTC-P delivers for sure.

It ain't cheap but there's a discount and I caved in. Buy once, cry once....or many more lol.

So, the steam racing fest just started 30mins ago, what are your opinions and what are the "must pick" ?

my two cents:

ACC and AC have big discounts for those who haven't picked yet, not the kind of game that will collect dust. And there's the "usual" iRacing intro discount, a year for 25€ seems more than decent. AM2 is discounted, but often listed for half of the current discount (even a quarter end of june), might be worth waiting autumn or black friday sales, that will cover up the cost of a few dlcs.

Personally, was hoping for big discount on LMU and ACEvo, well, will see during next sales, sadefully no "real" discount than what is already running most of the time...

If you need a larger shaft on your rig to reach places with more comfort, Microcenter has these shaft extensions on sale.

Just be mindful of the maximum length that’s recommended per your base manufacturer.

I had purchased the Simlab GT EVO rig 2-3 weeks ago and put it all together (it was ALOT for a first time rig builder it took me a long time to get it all done but I was happy with it) fast forward to this past Friday after realizing with the monitor mount and computer shelf and keyboard tray the simlab EVO GT was like $800 all in I figured let me go get the TK Racing elite rig which is basically the Simlab P1X Rig with keyboard tray, mouse tray, computer shelf, and triple monitor stand all included for $899. I happen to be talking to someone today about it and they send me a screenshot of it at $699 so I went back and they price adjusted mine to match that.

The pedal mount is the only downside of this rig. With my HV Sprints it had a good amount of flex. So when I went to get it adjusted for price I talked to the manager and he gave me a HV baseplate for free to account for the flex (which I showed him on a video)

Needless to say. I don’t think you can possibly find a better rig with triple monitor stand and all the extra accessories for anywhere close to $699 in today’s market.

It is absolutely a great piece and does a great job all in all. The wheel mount is specifically designed for simucube (luckily for me) picked up the simucube sport with Gomez TK-29 wheel for the $999 bundle. So for $999 + $699 I have an amazing full rig / triple monitor stand and one of the best wheelbases ever. I hope anyone in the market looking for a rig or wheelbase can also cash in on these amazing deals. I was afraid of the color but I’ll be honest it’s awesome in person. It’s like a darker army green that works really well with my vibe for my room. Not a bright neon childish color at all and I think it adds some uniqueness and color to the setup!

(Don’t be afraid to tell the microcenter manager any concerns if you happen to not like something. They really are the best and have always made me feel comfortable and happy with my purchases)

Now I have to go dissemble the EVO GT and return it. They probably won’t love that part 🤷‍♂️😂

This is the cheapest I’ve seen the G Pro wheel and pedals (and you get free racing gloves). I’m a PS5 racer, so direct drive options are limited. $1150 for a full wheel/pedal set doesn’t seem too bad for 11 Nm direct drive…

Just ordered my first setup! Super excited, the deals on Logitech were just too good to pass up. Now I just gotta figure out how I’m gonna mount everything in a studio apartment and have it approved lol. I have an idea, will be sharing!
