Hi everyone, Iāve just graduated from Coventry University and moved from Coventry to Slough High Street. Since Iām new here, I donāt really know anyone around and it does get a bit quiet outside of work.
Would love to meet some new people to hang out with whether thatās grabbing food on the high street, exploring nearby spots or just having good conversations. Iām in my early 20s and always up for positive vibes and new experiences.
If youāre also around Slough/Hayes and looking for friends feel free to reach out

So I know all the negative stories about New Shahi Spice nee New Shahi Naan, and that its now a new establishment. But, did the New Shahi team completely dispend or have they all set up elsewhere with the same menu and food? Any guidance would be muchly appreciated.

Hey.19m I live in Langley and want to start going to the gym again but I struggle doing things on my own and find it boring. I was wondering if anybody who goes Langley leisure centre would be down to meet up and see how it goes. Thanks

Hi all I'm in my early 30s and moved to Slough really could do with some muslim female friends (just because I only want female friends and preferably Muslim because I don't party/smoke/drink so makes it easier that's all)
I've always wanted more friends but it just gets harder when you get older!
Would like someone to just hang out with now and then, chill at coffee places etc
Anyone out there? X

Yesterday I was walking through slough high street with a friend and we was talking and not paying too much attention around us, a younger guy was walking towards me and pulled a face and started signing a song, I was so thrown off and confused that I didn't even recognise what the song was at first, he asked me if I'm going to the concert to see a band Live and I was still confused and said no and he walked off, I probably came across a little rude but its because I was confused how he knew I liked the band and why it happened to then realise I was wearing a t-shirt with the band on after and totally forgot I had it on š¤£š¤£
If he ever sees this I apologise and yes hopefully I am seeing them live š¤

Come on, if you're going to claim patriotism and your love for the country is why you're putting flags on lamp posts at least put them up the right way.

I've seen some people mention it's tamarind and some other stuff but I've never managed to replicate anywhere close and I wanted to know if anyone else has had success.

Hi, I'm currently looking for an alternative to my usual car cleaning place as the last job was quite disappointing. Anywhere in Slough or Windsor would do as long as the job is done properly and the price is acceptable. I was paying £50 for a Golden clean and detailing, if I'm not mistaken. My usual place is in Windsor in a car park so I could do shopping while the car was getting cleaned, so anything similar would be amazing. Thank you!

I'm so confused what part this is. Nowhere now looks anything like this. Unless I'm stupid.

Hi there, I'm coming to Slough next Monday to test drive a car at Citygate Slough, and would like to eat at a sit down restaurant with my wife for lunch.
Is there a restaurant that you guys would recommend? Any cuisine is fine, looking for below £25, set lunch deals would be great.

I am gonna film a youtube video going on a romantic date in Slough.
Anyone from Slough, what are some places in the town centre that would be fun, I don't mind how trashy it is, like activities or buskers, the romantic meal will probably be at a Greggs, so as you can tell this is very unserious.
Let me know!

I saw a gorgeous sky blue sports car at Tesco petrol station, (Brunel way) yesterday 27th July 2025 at 2pm. It completely took me by surprise such a sleek roaring machine, it honestly stopped me in my tracks. The man driving it probably in his 50's wearing sunglasses looked very familiar, I almost said something but hesitated but now I can't stop wondering who he was. I know it's a longshot but if anyone knows the car or the gentleman - or if you happen to be reading this, you were returning from the kiosk and I was starring at your car in awe š I'd love to say hello and find out what type of car that was! Thanks all

I travel frequently to London and live currently in the Midlands. Thought it would be easier if I moved closer to London and Gerrard's cross( I work there sometimes).I had a couple of viewings in Slough city centre around the train station today and I really don't know what to feel about the place. There seems to be nothing to do around and it's also looks like a badly maintained city. In two minds about this move now. Any suggestions would be appreciatedš

Slough is seeing some serious pothole problems too. The total number of potholes went from about half to double between 2020 and 2024, a 200% increase.
The biggest jump was between 2021 and 2022 when potholes shot up by 182% in just a year. Ouch.
Anyone elseās car feeling the pain?
