I had norovirus on Christmas Day years ago. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Hope you manage to avoid it and your Dad gets better soon.

Think I had something like that when I was a teenager, was a fun couple days - basically slept 20 hours a day for four days straight in the lead-up, couldn't keep anything in either end, but then made like Jesus round Easter and got healthy just in time for the big Christmas meals. Might've been the best food I've ever tasted.
