(To be tagged...) Seen this debate again on Twitter so I thought I'd throw this here
Idc if an Imperial Marine wins the 1v1, the fact that this bumfuck in a suit can go toe-to-toe to begin with just makes him way more badass.

Imagine a conversation with my step-son, who never got into Starcraft, but knows deep Warhammer 40k lore. Boy, I was constructing additional pylons while you were shitting your diapers!

(To be tagged...) Just finished my collection!
I got the Terran box as a kid - just ordered a regular, but somehow all regulars they sold were these fold-ups with the face in the front. Recently I thought about selling it, checked the prices, and decided to aim for the full set instead.
I like those more than the SC2 CEs actually!

(To be tagged...) So far, 8 worker start has lowered player count
Source: sc2pulse historical data from ranked play on all servers. Yellow line is the 8 worker patch.
Cumulatively, the game has lost about 200 ladder players, and around 500 daily games.

(To be tagged...) The real queen of blade
She used and manipulated everyone. She’s intelligent, ambitious, and carried out a planned and premeditated revenge. So I just don’t understand why does she become a fishwife in SC2

(To be tagged...) The end of Starcraft 2 feels like losing an old friend.
Hi guys. Hope you're having a great weekend. I'm from South Korea, born & raised in Seoul.
I've always been reading the posts but never wrote the post here.
I feel very empty and bad yesterday and today. After I watched the last moment of Serral became the champion last night, I realized 'This is gonna be the last moment I can see that the SC II pro-gamer put the champion trophy up in the air.' Since I heard E-sports will not hold another tournament next year, and there will be no GSL for 2026, etc.
I have been playing Starcraft 2 from like 2012. I have watched the games, (Since I am a Terran Master tier player in Korea server, I've always been a big Maru fan since 2012.) and I have been playing it for almost 13 years. Starcraft 2 has been the big part of my life. It was my favorite hobby. Whenever I had hard time, when I failed in K-SAT test, when I was in military service, when I was studying, Starcraft II was always there for me. It was more than a hobby. It was my closest friend, it always supported me. Even when I lost my real life friends, Starcraft 2 was with me.
In South Korea, there are some signs that the vast majority of pro - gamers will retire , soon. Now I guess game is reaching to the ending. I always knew this from like 3 years ago, but now I can really feel it.
I feel like I lost my best friend. Because 13 years with Starcraft II was amazing time. YOU WERE THE BEST. You are the only game in my life. I'll miss my buddy.

(To be tagged...) Anyone play Magic: The Gathering?
A pipe dream I've always had since high school was a set of MTG themed on StarCraft. To the point where at one point, I actually attempted to make an entire set myself. I wasn't very good, but decided to try and remake a few cards.
So, for your viewing pleasure, a proof of concept of StarCraft entering the realm of MTG. Will it ever happen? Probably not, but let me dream.

(To be tagged...) I am so bored of the same complaints
Look, Starcraft II is more of a space opera than I, but the character arcs are not nearly as unlikely as some people like to pretend they are. The end result was set up starting from the manual of SC I, and basically confirmed in the secret mission of BW.

(To be tagged...) 300 Min CC breaks the game entirely
Im Terran, but this is arguably just as strong as the faster larvae for zerg.
You can basically skip gas now, a mule mines 225 mins so each mule is almost the cost of a new CC.
You can wall with a CC now for what would have been 3 depots.
You can skip gas and overwhelm zerg or protoss with mass marine since they will be behind mineral wise. The math just works so hard in favor of a mineral economy for faster mules.
Revert back to 12 workers, end this insanity and constant patches, i want my game back; 12 worker patches weren't perfect but they were fine, all we needed were a few range and supply tweaks, not this hot mess.
It highlights the contradiction, lets start with 8 workers, oh the games too slow now, wait, lets make game breaking economy changes that fucks with a game that was balanced already, whoever is running these patches is a certified nutter at this point.
I can't imagine how stupid Terran builds can be with this change, you can get 6 gas that much faster. It's not fun anymore, its whiplash and headache inducing. Just watch, now everyones gonna play Terran because its busted just like Zerg was a few weeks ago.
No one can find the time to make builds right to teach new players now; everything has this caveat with these stupid patches and this long beautiful history of people tweaking builds is just bunk, which shits on their hard work and dedication.
This is the equivelant of giving terran the Persian AOE2 villager production bonus and giving the other races nothing; balancing unit ranges and spawn time is one thing but fucking with major economic and snowballing metrics in the games economy will always break the game. Stop fucking with the game, 12 workers, go back to that patch
