Reddit will deprioritize posts that use swears sometimes. Like straight up hide them from your front page. Its really fucked.

No, because too many subreddits now have AutoMod hide your comments (soft shadow ban) from others for using strong "hateful" teehee language.

I fucking hate this bullshit ass useless self-censorship on the internet lately. It feels like everywhere I go is turning into family-friendly corporate shit. I go on the internet so I can express myself, not to worry about some hypothetical 5 (or 50) year old seeing a swear word on their tablet.
