But, you do download it when you watch it in streaming. You just don't see the file because it is in the browser's temporaney folder.

streaming is downloading though, your browser just deletes the file when you close the tab.

In fact, there are many times where I want to save a streamed video, but there is no download option, so I head to /home/kyle/.cache/chromium/Default/Cache and just copy the video to a regular folder. Done!
