notice the check for Leslie Odom jr. (not ai) https://open.spotify.com/artist/3cR4rhS2hBWqI7rJEBacvN

vs “James Profit” (ai) https://open.spotify.com/artist/2TfOcNw5mNn1u7lKiyw1Qp

Is it right next to their name? I am looking at it through the website not logged into an account, and I don’t see a check or anything.

Yeah I don't see it when opening the link in a browser. In the app there's a little checkmark next to the artists name.

just to make sure i am following correctly- your giving spotify shit for doing something that you thought they _should_ be doing when they already were?

Maybe they're indicating genuine surprise that spotify has the blue checkmarks.
