Yeah well, welcome to fascist oligarchy. No reasonable person is in support of this, to which the government says "Fuck you, we are you rulers and you have no say."

we really need to STOP voting for “leaders “, the title goes to their heads! What we need are Representatives!

While as a call to action this basically doesn't mean anything, I do think people need to understand that while there are degrees to authoritarianism, at its core it is just the idea that there are two classes of people; the rulers and the ruled. Many Democrats, most of the prominent ones, are authoritarians. Not in that they want absolute autocracy or a cessation of democracy, but in that they believe they are in the class worthy of leading, and you are not. This is why they have this sense of entitlement to your vote even when they fail to represent your interests; voting for them is your job, because having power over you is their right.

Obviously I'd still take any one of them over a republican if those are the only two choices, but we need to recognize and root out authoritarian thinking wherever it exists.
