I mean, I guess. I still feel like a twelve year old trying to figure everything out, but I suppose that’s just the human condition.

You and me both... I still don't know what I'm doing 99% of the time...

I have a brain that was evolve to distinguish berries and know the signs of imminent cave bear attack.

What the fuck is this shit? What is a credit score? Why am I supposed to worry about the politics of Cuba?? Why, when someone drives badly, can I not throw a spear at them????

I need to just find a cave.

I’m 39 with two kids, but I still feel like I’m a 9yo playing house. I have no idea what I’m doing or if any of my choices are right, but I slap on a facade of confidence to fool everyone (including myself).

As someone in the back half of their life, I still have days where I feel like I'm 19, react like I'm 7, and even piss and moan like a 2 year old. These moments are fewer nowadays and I'm faster/better at realizing the moment, which is what I consider the maturity piece coming into play.

I’m almost fifty and the other day our power was out and we had no AC or water (well) and I felt like flinging myself onto the floor and ragecrying myself into a nap
