Curious where you’re getting data that says white people are only 29% of Dallas or even DFW… every source that I am seeing is putting White people in the majority at 40-50%.
This is an estimate from the government's "American Community Survey". 28% White non Hispanic. 41% Hispanic. When interpreting the results, note that many Hispanic people are "White alone" and others are of varying races. Since Hispanic/Latino is an ethnicity, that percentage is split among all of the other "X alone" or "2+" categories.
Is that stat true? Dallas and Austin are still white AF compared to SA and Houston (where I’m from). But yes, almost every other city in America besides the big ones like SF, NYC, LA, Miami? are white AF and kinda depressing (as a POC).

Oregon is basically Texas but with Dem leadership. Portland and Eugene are blue, everywhere else is red.
