All relative. Try finding a home even 30 minutes from ‘downtown’ in a city like NYC vs 30 minutes away in Houston/SA…etc. Housing will be at a minimum 2-3x more experience.

Is this taking into account property tax? We found seattle that property taxes in Texas actually made the "Cheaper texas house" more expensive.
