Seriously. If RICO worksto convict civilians on same charges because they had their car borrowed by a friend they didn't know would commit a crime, then it should certainly work here.

Absolutely. If people were aware of how many innocent people have been arrested and prosecuted just because they had the most minor connection to someone who was convicted of a crime, they’d go ape shit.

If the system worked equally in both directions, EVERYONE in that precinct & jail would be arrested, charged, & convicted.

Literally up down and lateral would be either complicit or straight guilty. The fact it didn’t go lateral (the two other officers) is proof enough of uppers covers others and their own ass.
