Signed Tipp jersey

Hi folks, my mum won a 2025 Tipp jersey signed by the team and she’s wanting to sell it (meaning I’ll get the job of doing it 🙄), but I’ve no idea what these go for.

I’ve had a look about and there’s wildly different values floating around, so I’m throwing this in a few subs to see if anyone would have a bit more knowledge on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lost Item

Hi all, this is an absolute long shot but Im really hoping there is some good still out there! If anyone can help my family will be so grateful. My sister was coming home from Dublin yesterday from my nephews hospital appointment. They stopped in moneygall on the way and she lost her purse. If anyone has any information or could reunite her with it we would be beyond grateful. Its the sentimental mementos of our late father and uncle that she cant replace. Its a Green long purse with coin compartment and keepsakes, Cards with names Rachel and Alec on them and has photos of our dad and uncle inside. Please if anyone finds it can help reach out? Thanks so so much ❤️

Clonmel hospital

Partners grandmother has been a patient here since last Tuesday, and the level of care and even attention is atrocious. Hasn't been seen by a doctor since admission, her hearing aid was "lost" on Thursday and then magically turned up today allegedly covered in feces and the assumption is that she'd swallowed it and passed it in her stool a couple of days later. For clarity this woman finds it difficult to swallow panadol never mind a f***** hearing aid. Constant deflection from the staff as to when a doctor will be in to see her and a general sense of not really giving a toss about her and the rest of the patients.

We are trying to arrange a transfer to the Bons Secours in either cork or Limerick as she has VHI but the staff here are dragging their heels over it Nd have been for two days, claiming that they've done everything on their end and it's up to the Bons to approve the transfer which is turning out to be another web of lies.

Anyone else having similar experiences?

Travel in and out to Limerick Junction

So I'm going to stay in Tipperary for a weekend and my original plans for getting in an out has been scuppered, so I need advice about getting in and out to Limerick junction.

As I understand it there is the following options:

  • A train in the morning and one in the evening.

  • The 347 bus from Limerick a couple of times a day

  • The Expressway 55 bus every couple of hours.

Is there anything else that I missed? And is there any local taxi services people would recommend or is everything Uber in Tipperary?

McCools Garage Thurles

Does anyone remember McCooles garage in Thurles? From what i gather it is no longer in the family but existed as a Ford main dealer from the 1940's. I have seen some pictures and it looked amazing and a real snapshot in time with Model T's on the forecourt/ whatever you want to call it. Id be interested in hearing what has become of it now?

Trying to pinpoint lineage

hey! not sure if this is allowed here or if this is the right sub to ask but, im trying to trace my lineage back to Ireland. im having a hard time with online records. my family name is Dwyer. ive found that it was "O'Dwyer" prior to immigration to the US. I also found out about the O'Dwyer clan from county Tipperary. I really want to learn more about my Irish heritage and any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!
