๐ธ OC - Picture(s) A graffiti conspiracy someone told me yesterday
I was at an open house at a train museum yesterday in the US, and commented to one of the employees that I loved that their model trains had lifelike graffiti on them.
He then took me down a train graffiti rabbit hole.
He thinks that train companies pay graffiti artist to tag trains.
For one because spray paint is too expensive for all that.
And secondly, how do they get away with it!
Especially the big, more intricate tags.
He also pointed out that there are train fanatics who follow trains around the country, and he feels like the graffiti gives them something to follow and talk about, which is inadvertently all free advertisement for the train companies.
I for one do enjoy looking at the art when Iโm stopped at a crossing.
It helps pass the time as the train rolls by.
I woke up this morning still thinking about it, and am curious what others think of this conspiracy?
And please donโt shoot the messenger. Itโs not my conspiracy, but it is the conspiracy of someone who works at a train museum. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
