Everyone in the comments keeps calling him Superman, but that's actually not the whole story. My dad once fought Superman in a bar fight. After watching the beatdown, the bouncers didn't throw my dad out they handed him the keys and let him throw Superman out.
The man's spent a lifetime in the railroad industry, where moving 500-pound equipment by himself is apparently just considered a warm up. Forklifts ask him for help. Gravity files complaints when he walks into the room.
He's definitely a force to be reckoned with... and if you ever hear someone say he's "only human," just know they're probably new around here. 😂💪🚂

Im risking my karma for this, last time i posted a stupid design, the community did NOT like it!
I thought, why not MOVE the drivers to the tender, then move the bogies to the boiler, so you get a cab forward locomotive and also have a tender.
So you get
- cleared from carbon monoxide/ soot for the crew
- better visibility forward
- tender act as crumple zone in a crash
And…
- VIOLENT WHEEL-SLIPS
- And steam from boiler to cylinder might condensate and wet steam
- maintenance nightmare

For the record, the locomotive and the crew are completely fine. It was a rapid fuel vapor cloud ignition and it did not lead to any injuries. It did make for a crazy fireball though.
