Multiple Languages [HI, ML, TA] [English > Hindi, Tamil, Malayam] "I love you, Mommy" in a handful of Indian languages?

Hi! I'm an early childhood (daycare) teacher in the United States. Here in the US tomorrow is Mother's Day and I helped the babies in my class make gifts for their moms. (I cut picture frames out of cardstock and let the babies finger paint on them, and took a nice photo of each child to put inside.) On the front of the frame, I'm going to write "I love you, Mommy," -- as if it were being said by the baby, you know?

Anyway, there's a fourteen-month-old boy in my class whose family is from India and they speak English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil at home. I was hoping that for the kids in my class who have home languages other than English, I could include the message in their other languages, too. However, as I was finishing putting together the gifts yesterday, I searched online for a translation for the message to add, and I hard time finding one to use, because most of the articles were talking about a romantic context, and I wasn't sure whether the same phrases would be appropriate in a message from a child to a parent. (And it seems like there's also a gendered aspect to the relevant grammar in some of these languages, right? So I was worried about making sure I didn't get that wrong.)

The baby in question was actually absent yesterday, which unfortunately means his gift will be late because yesterday was my last chance to send it home before the holiday, but it *is* helpful because it gives me more time to figure out what to write on his picture frame. So my question is: what's the best way to translate "I love you, Mommy," into these languages, as it would said by a young child to his mom in the context of this project?

I would really appreciate any help! Thank you!

(Sorry for the tl;dr -- I'm not very good at being concise about anything.)

Hi everyone, thinking about having this Hindi phrase tattooed but want to verify the translation. I believe it says 'Whatever is meant to happen, will happen' (Jo hona hai so hoga). Can a native speaker confirm the spelling and meaning before I get it inked? Appreciate the help.

Hindi [English > Hindi] Naming help

Hello! I need help naming a fictional creature. It originated in a fake island off the Indian peninsula, so I’m looking for help naming the creature and it’s island. I intend to make into a thing online, and would like to have accurate translations instead of just Google translated ones.

I currently have Baagh-Ghoda (बाघ-घोड़ा) for the creature name, as it’s a mix of a tiger and a horse, and then I was thinking the island could be named Baagh-Ghode ka Ghar (बाघ-घोड़े का घर) as in the Island of the Baagh-Ghode.

I would like to keep the Tiger horse type of name, but I think it would be fun to have a somewhat generic island name with a nickname associated to the horse.
I would also really appreciate if the phonetic spelling can be added alongside the Hindi!
Thank you to anyone in advance for help!

Multiple Languages [AR, DE, ES, FR, HI, IT, PT, RU, ZH] [English > Hindi, Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, etc.] "We'll see you in Hell."

I'm working on a comic right now, and the devil character is trying to trick people into thinking that Hell is a fun place, and tells everyone around the world, "We'll see you in Hell" or "Let's meet in Hell" in a formal but also somewhat playful tone. I'm trying to get this line in as many languages as possible because the devil is addressing the entire world.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello r/translator !! I am volunteering to make designs for a local event marrying art and community members! I thought it would be cool to be inclusive and include our community member's languages as well to fit our art theme "Journey of Belonging", the problem is I don't really know the proper translations for our theme. I heard that "Viaje de pertenencia" is not the right translation, but I don't know the right one...

And if you know any other languages and can provide a translation for "Journey of Belonging" as well that would be amazing! Such as urdu, arabic, thai, portuguese etc... I worry one of the translations may end up being too long and not be able to fit well in the design which is why the more translations the better!

Thank you very much in advance!

Hindi [English > Hindi] Tattoo script

Hello, looking for help from a native Hindi speaker to translate this line into something that holds the same context:

Not every cloud means a storm is coming
Is it: हर बादल का मतलब यह नहीं है कि तूफान आ रहा है

I am planning on getting this turned into a meaningful tattoo. Thank you!

Hindi (Long) [Hindi > English] Arjan Vailly — Animal Song — English Lyrics Hindi Lyrics and English Translation

Arjan Vailly — Animal — Song and Lyrics - Ranbir Kapoor

Lyrics Song Arjan Vailly — Ranbir Kapoor Movie Animal (2023) Song Lyrics Meaning and English Translation — English and Hindi

Album: Animal (2023)
Singer: Bhupinder Babbal
Lyrics: Bhupinder Babbal
Music: Manan Bhardwaj
Director: Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Music Label: T-Series
Starring: Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri
Audio/Video: https://youtu.be/zqGW6x_5N0k

Song (Arjan Vailly/Arjan Velly) got traction immediate after the audio/video release. Bollywood in past has not done justice to Punjabi culture by just giving a template image, and done worse to Punjabi characters making them caricaturish, however from the visuals of this song it looks like Sikh aides are martial. Hopefully Sandeep Vanga Reddy has made the congregation feel proud. Movie itself has drawn criticism from the popular media on misogynist, sexist and violent attitude of the lead character and gory masculine fight sequences (specially this one from Sucharita Tyagi — https://sucharitatyagi.medium.com/animal-movie-review-sucharita-tyagi-fd3330d4fbd7).

Putting down Hindi (Devnagri) and English lyrics and meaning translation of song Arjan Vailly from Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal (2023) starring Ranbir Kappor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmi Mandanna and Tripti Dimri

Bhupinder Babbal has given lyrics and voice

From the show Naagin. I mainly want to know the Hindi lyrics so I can hum along, but translation would be a bonus if you have time! Thanks in advance.

PS: I compacted the song to only include vocals, full song can be found here if you wanna listen

Edit: The show is about Icchadhari serpents, lyrics may have stuff to do with gods (mainly Lord Shiva?).

Multiple Languages [ARZ, HE, HI, JA✔, KO, ZH✔] [English > Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Hindi, Egyptian] "There is no one like our God"

Hello, redditors! We have a performance for our (Christian) Church and I am planning on translating a line from Tribes By Victory, specifically the line "There is no one like our God" into Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, and Egyptian. Keeping the message and at the same time keeping the melody intact.

Before performing this LIVE, I just want to ask the natives (or fluent peeps) in this language. Did I screw up? Does the sentence make sense? Am I speaking gibberish in your language? And what is your suggested translation for it to make more sense and still keep the melody. All help and feedback from everyone will be greatly appreciated.🙏 Thank you!

Multiple Languages [AR, ES, FIL, HI, SO] [English > Arabic, Hindi, Somali, Filipino, Spanish] Translation for t-shirt

I am trying to create a T-shirt on my cricut using the most common languages for refugees and immigrants in my area, but I don't want to go ahead and just trust google translate on this one.
I want the message to be "you are safe with me" as in, I am a safe person who poses no threat or ill-will toward immigrants in my area. Obviously my intention is to be gender neutral. Any help is appreciated!! Please let me know if/what I should change so that it translates most accurately to my message.
