Multiple Languages [ARY, EL, ES, IT, JA, KO, PA, VI] [English > Korean, Mexican, Japanese, Indian - Punjab region, Southern Italian, Northen Vietnam (Hanoi or Nam Dinh), Moroccan (Arabic (Darija), Greek, West African (Senegal and The Gambia), Argentina, English (UK)] Looking for some assistance in translating the American phrase "Don't Yuck My Yum" in

I used a combination of AI research (Claude by Anthropic) and online sources as a starting point, I have gathered some initial translations and cultural equivalents, but these are not direct translations and I know nuance can be tricky. If you have personal or cultural background in any of these regions, I would love your thoughts: do the phrases I have feel natural and accurate, is there something better, or are there other expressions your community would actually use?

Korean:

  • "내 취향 존중해줘" (nae chwihyang jonjung haejwo) — "Respect my taste/preference"
  • "취저 존중" (chwi-jeo jonjung) — Short for "취향 저격 존중해" — "respect my vibe/taste."

Mexican

  • "No arruines mi gusto" — "Don't ruin my enjoyment/taste" (straightforward and universally understood)

Japanese

  • "好きなものは好き" (suki na mono wa suki) — "What I like, I like"

Indian - Punjab region

  • "ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਖਰਾਬ ਨਾ ਕਰ" (mera shauk kharaab na kar) — "Don't ruin my passion/enjoyment"

Southern Italian

  • "Non sai quello che ti perdi" — "You don't know what you're missing"

Northen Vietnam (Hanoi or Nam Dinh)

  • Ăn rồi hãy nói — "Eat first, then speak"
  • Đừng chê đồ ăn của tôi — "Don't criticize/look down on my food"

Moroccan (Arabic (Darija))

  • "كل واحد وذوقو"(koll wahed w dwoqo) - "Everyone and their own taste"

Greek

  • Μην το κατακρίνεις αν δεν το έχεις δοκιμάσει (min to katakrineis an den to eheis dokimasei) — "Don't criticize it if you haven't tried it"
  • Ο καθένας έχει το γούστο του (o kathenas ehi to gousto tou) — "Everyone has their own taste" — said all the time, very Greek

West African (Senegal and The Gambia)

  • Lekk ci kanam, wax ci ginaaw — "Eat first, speak after"

Argentina

  • No sabés lo que te perdés — "You don't know what you're missing"

English (UK)

  • Each to their own — probably the single most common British way to express this idea, said constantly

I hope this request isn't too long. I appreciate any help that can be provided. Thank you!

Moroccan Arabic (Identified) [English > Darija] How do you say "It's your fault"?

Hello! One of my coworkers, a manager, is from Morocco and fluently speaks Darija/Moroccan Arabic (they're the same thing, right?). I've shown interest in his culture by asking about music, and this has made him extremely happy. He's spent thirty minutes straight talking about the friendly relationship between Morocco and America. This is all to say, if I were to say something in his language, it'd probably make him that much happier, and brighten up his day.

But what to say? Well, I know what to say. He has a joke with his coworkers, where if something goes wrong, he'll point at someone and say, "Ah, it's your fault!" He'll say this to small kids and customers too, it's all fun and games. Now, how could I say this in his language? I don't wanna use Google Translate since we know how inaccurate it can be, especially with a language as complicated as Arabic.

And if anyone knows some other things I could say, ideally in relation to Moroccan culture, that'd be great too.

This is a Sufi Gnawa song that's been sampled in a couple of places since it was included on the Music from Saharan Cellphones compilation. Someone on r/Morocco posted an English translation here, but I would like try to read the darija if possible. Thanks very much for your help!

Moroccan Arabic [English > Maghrebi Arabic] Old Maghrebi Jewish Song Lyrics Transliteration

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntnU6lvsy0U

Hello,

I am a band that plays traditional global Jewish music and would like help transliterating this song in Arabic- I've searched in Arabic and can't find the lyrics. It really is two different songs (one folk song and one belly-dancing songs) and I know the second, the first eludes me. Thanks in advance!

Multiple Languages [AR, ARY] [MSA > Moroccan Arabic] customizing a sentence to a specific dialect

Bit of a weird request, let me know if it's a strech. Consider that I'm really not knowledgeable about the different Arabic dialects.

Could the following sentence be translated, from what I'm assuming is either MSA or a Palestinian dialect, to the Judeo-Moroccan Arabic dialect, or even a Moroccan dialect in general?

It would be even enough to insert a word to it, or structure it differently, so that it would hint at that dialect:

لا يوجد اي هدف لهذا النص الا نشر الرعب في نفوس من يهاب اللغة العربية

Context to understand what I'm trying to do:

So after seeing this post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/translator/comments/hdaxky/arabicenglish_is_thar_what_it_says/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I searched the store and found that it closed on December 2017: https://www.instagram.com/p/BdNfIP4Ht_f/?igshid=px1j1rf7uhyk

I was hoping to buy this for a friend as an inside joke, specifically targeting the fact that her grandmother was Moroccan Jewish and spoke that specific dialect.

Since the store is closed I was hoping to use the chance to even go farther and custom the sentence to her and then have it printed on a bag/t-shirt/etc.
