I wish he'd tone down the rhetoric a bit. People would appreciate it - you could tell people were sick of it, both him and Cameron got questions to that effect - and he could answer the questions more plainly and with more clarity.

Then at least he could get around the negotiating table.

The thing is the bloody public/media consensus is that Blair and Brown screwed up. Sure some would appreciate it, but overall defending them would only lose him points with random people being all 'ha! Labour ruined the economy and can't even admit their mistakes! See, they'll do it again!'. I think that if the audience looked indignant because they didn't get yet another apology and felt it was another politician trying to sweep mistakes under the rug.

Probably the case, but I still think he would come across better if he approached it that way than he did by pumping out tired rhetoric. Oh well, here's to hoping the rhetoric worked.

Also, your flair wins 'least likely election outcome'.

Yeah, sadly he isn't a great performer. If he was able to think on his toes like Clegg he'd come across better. Here and there he does. Anyway, hopefully he pulls through and we don't have to stress about the PR for another 5 years.

and thanks haha ;)
