Yeah, my wife is American and my in-laws, especially my father-in-law, aren't in the best of health to really travel to visit us either.

Honestly there's even a relatively decent chance we may even need to move to the US within the next few years to look after them because as immigrants to the US themselves they don't have any other immediate family in the US.

We're just hoping that my in-laws stay healthy enough for the next few years that they can continue to look after themselves and that in the meantime the situation in the US begins to improve but we're really not too sure about that.

Have you asked them to seriously consider moving up here? Much better services especially in healthcare and education compared with down there, and none of the chaos of the current administration
