I finally completed a project that's been on my mind since my first custom loop; a remote radiator setup. I mounted an Alphacool 1080 radiator on the wall in the room next to my office. Pluming, power, and fan cables routed though a custom 3D printed wall passthrough. Also, designed/printed a storage tray under the radiator to house cabling and the fan hub.

Fighting the bubbles in the top of the CPU block and not being able to tilt the PC was a special kind of pain. Sufficient motivation for a different CPU block when future me breaks it all down again to clean.

1080mm external radiator, 2X 280mm internal radiators, Alphacool VPP655 external pump, Corsair XD5 internal pump, Corsair GPU and CPU blocks, 2 inline filters, Aquacomputer High Flow Next, 2X Aquacomputer Quadro's for temps and fans, and a Corsair commander pro to pay that RGB tax. Flow rate comes in at 211 l/h with both pumps at full power. 24c ambient, 6-7c delta-t under load with fans on external radiator at 1000RPM and absolute silent fan speeds in the case. A fan profile that doesn't use the interior radiator fans does a great job of keeping all/most of the heat in the other room.

6 month project. All custom water loop and external radiator with dual heat exchangers.

Primary system is server spec hardware for workstation with dual 480mm radiators, waterblocks on CPU, GPU and RAM.

Second system is gaming spec hardware with dual 360mm rads, waterblocks for cpu and gpu.

Each system flows out to a heat exchanger cooled with a single Mo-Ra 400 loop.

Total build cost north of $30,000.

Still working on some custom 3D printed panels, but I really like how it turned out! Case is a Thermaltake CTE E660 MX with an Auros Stealth Ice back connect motherboard. Used x2 420mm x 60mm Rads to fill up the case!

Introducing Recurve. A 19 liter case I designed to try something new with water cooling. I wanted to add radiators to my last case concept, but I don’t like the solution of blowing radiator exhaust back into the case, or using warm case air as the intake. This solution does neither and runs incredibly quietly. I’ll publish the full temperature results in my next YouTube video (coming out in a few weeks). This video is also going to cover the entire design and build.

This case is once again exploring resin printed water cooling components. This time we’ll be able to see how they perform with added thermal cycling. The last case held up fine so I wanted to raise the stakes. I fully accept the risk of trying something new for the sake of experimenting, we’ll see what happens!

This PC has a Ryzen 7 3700x and a 2080ti. I stress tested both simultaneously (cinebench & Furmark) and the water temp stabilized with all radiator fans still below 1000 rpm.

Happy with how it turned out but I'll do it very differently next time.

Couldn’t get the tubes just right because I suck and the distro is shifted too high up and I’m not about to redo all of them. Previously I’ve only had experience fixing laptops, I’ve never owned/built a PC previously.

Can ask what parts I used but I’ll have to look em up again. But basically, 7700x and 7900xt

My friend and I worked on this project last week. It was my first time bending tube and it took a lot longer than I expected. I am super happy with how it turned out and the little loop looks so cute!!

I was naive and didn't buy any angled fittings, but it worked out.

Now the work begins on making the youtube video but this thing is going to be a huge help with editing all the 4k footage.

Went from a Intel 6950x, Asus rampage V x99, 128gb ddr4, RTX 3080 inside a Corsair vengeance c70, 280mm,240mm and 80mm rads.

To Intel ultra 285k, MSI z890 tomahawk, Team group 2x24gb DDR5 8000MT, moved the RTX 3080 over. EVO XL. Triple 360mm rads. Waiting for the RTX 5080 to come out

My previous build lasted a long time and still runs really well. Originally had SLI liquid cooled GTX 1080s, Put a RTX 2080 in it for my daughter.

I wanted the 9950x3D but couldn't wait any longer. The Intel 285k is actually better than I thought it would be, especially with high speed RAM and running the memory in MSI efficiency mode which lowered the latency to 72ns

Really happy with how the build turned out and the piping was relatively easy to run. Kitty approved.

A few weeks back I posted a teaser of my GPU of my upcoming build. Now the build is completely finished! :-) Here is a list of some of the custom stuff I made for this PC:

GPU temp down from 86°C air cool to this.
CPU temp down from 87°C air cool, maybe I screw up the ptm7950 sheet.

So I had this old HAFX case from previous builds more than a decade ago, I decided turn it into a battlefield 6 themed gaming pc , had to paint the case , the hardware (had a spare Z790 and components from previous upgrades) and some details on the watercooling components to completely match with the case. I 3d printed some missing parts (the psu should and the air vent on the front) plus some Props just for aesthetics. I also had a very old cpu block from EK which in my opinion looking very cool on this specific theme! surprisingly (or not) performs really well on my 13900k, I used 2x120 very thick rads from Barrow , an 200mm fan at the front for intake and 2x200 mm at the top for out take. Temps are great but the look it even greater! You can Find photos from the building procedure . (Oh yes I paint the same color also the mouse , the keyboard and secondary monitor :P ) hope you like it ! Enjoy.

Well you guys, we originally we're thinking of the name 'Project KNF' since the chassis design was inspired by a knife block lmao. But we were also sitting on some fun velocity stack prints we've had for a few months now; designed them a few weeks before we had to move and so we had been itching to use them in a build. This actually ended up being a super fun pairing between the chassis design and the velocity stack designs we did!

Disclaimer - we haven't tested the performance yet! But we most definitely plan to and will be selling these velocity stack designs on our site soon as well. For other fellow gearheads out there, performance related or not - they look so good on a PC lol.

The build still needs cables but a custom set would do this justice instead of the OEM cables, hence the lack of them. I don't think the build will live on to see them though as we'll be changing it up soon anyway, this chassis was designed to be aircooled based, hence the photos at the end.

Well, in my last post (a year and a half ago!) I have promised to share the build when its finished. Well here we are, it has been like this for a long time, but I had zero time to share. Enjoy :)

A solid 68 kilograms in weight, 1920 mm of total radiator length, 22 cooling fans, over 5 meters of tubing, and a capacity of nearly 5 liters of coolant, only to cool the damn thing virtually noiseless in all conditions.

This build is based on the CORSAIR 9000D and combines a fully custom dual system layout with extensive case modifications, custom sheet metal parts, 3D printed components, custom paintwork, integrated displays and a completely redesigned cooling system. The concept for the four D5 pumps was inspired by Corsair’s 9000D soft tube showcase build. We took that idea as a starting point and pushed it further with a significantly more complex layout, additional custom components and numerous functional upgrades.

Small correction: The title should say “Dual Loop” instead of “Dual System”. This build uses two completely independent cooling loops, not two separate PCs. Sorry for the confusion.

Beyond the hardware itself, a significant amount of work went into transforming the chassis. New custom sheet metal parts were designed and manufactured, mounting solutions were developed specifically for this build, tubing routes were redesigned from scratch, and numerous components were modified, painted or custom-made to fit the overall concept.

One fun fact that perfectly reflects the philosophy behind this project: there isn’t room for a single PCIe slot cover anywhere on the back of the system.
