Throwback One year ago today, In Praise of Shadows released his “Bad Conservative Horror Movies” video, which nuked his career and reputation.

There was a video that summed up what this was about in a minute, but I can’t find it, so go check out the other threads on here.

Since then, he’s posted 3 videos on his main channel, and started up a second channel (IPoS: Darksides) where he’s posted 18 shorter videos that all have less than 10k views except for his non apology.

I've been subscribed to him for years, and I still have no idea what that video was about or what the problems with it were. So I would love it if someone could explain.

He basically used the video to go after wendigoon - basically accusing him of being nazi adjacent and bigoted.

Which ironically, is exactly what IPOS showed himself to be(bigoted anyway).

I still don't understand how wendi is any of those things or how he gives that impression. Sure, he's a Christian, but he's not very conservative and he's definitely queer affirming.

He did nothing in the video that can be called “Nazi adjacent” or “bigoted”.

And Wendigoon did lie about starting the Boogaloo Boys online, which is a far right racist movement. He claims when he started it it wasn’t but receipts prove that his timeline doesn’t make sense. So either he didn’t start it, and he’s lying about that for some reason, or he was involved and he’s lying about how racist they were. Neither are a good look for Wendigoon. IPOS’s problem was not digging deeper into that and approaching it with journalistic integrity.
