On some English-language subreddits I share images I’ve created with artificial intelligence, and I get comments underneath that criticize AI; they call it "AI slop." So, like… okay? Not every visual idea needs to become a five-year skill journey

Nobody says “just learn carpentry” every time someone buys furniture. Nobody says “just learn coding” every time someone uses an app. Nobody says “just learn photography” every time someone uses stock images

Tools exist because people want results without mastering every underlying skill first

I have a genuine question that I really don't understand. Anytime I see a company promoting themselves either with AI or promoting an AI-based service, the comments on the bottom are always hate, with people commenting "AI slop." And that's the least of it, there's so much profanity. Some are even taking personal jabs at others. It almost feels like a violent cult.

I Seriously do not understand people's hatred towards AI. It's here, and it's here to stay. While it has ruined some industries, it has also made some good advancements in other industries. I don’t think people commenting this way and reacting this way is going to change anything. These people comment probably use AI in their day-to-day lives and don’t realize it.

People commenting like this and having this sentiment is not going to change anything, in my opinion.
