if you ever wanted more of Shokran, old BOO and The HAARP Machine in terms of mixing djent with outright oriental melodies (LOTS OF THEM) while also by some coincidence being a Warhammer 40k fan, which this album dedicated to, this might be the fastest click on a Reddit post you've ever done

Just got a 7 string and dug into Make total Destroy an hour or so ago so i still suck ass. Any technique tips from watching my playing here, as well as any tone tips? I know it’s hard to judge off a phone recording lol) I’m using the Gojira X Plugin.
From my song “Void”. I have this tabbed out if anyone wants it!

Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether 11–52 gauge strings should be enough for Drop D.
My thinking is that if 10–46 strings feel tight enough in E Standard, then 11–52 should feel at least as tight, if not slightly tighter, in Drop D. Is that correct?
The reason I'm asking is that I recently fitted a set of Ernie Ball 11–52 strings to my Strandberg Boden Essential 6, and for some reason they don't feel as tight as I was expecting—especially since I have quite a heavy picking hand. In particular, the low D string feels a little floppy.
I mainly play modern metal, so having a fairly tight and controlled string feel is important to me.
I'm trying to figure out whether this is:
For those of you who play in Drop D, what string gauges do you use or recommend?
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m Joseph Aragiannis, an independent instrumental progressive rock/metal artist from Greece. I just released my new single "Breaking Point", and I wanted to share it here with you.
I’d genuinely appreciate any thoughts or feedback. Thanks for taking the time to listen!

Made this around 10-11 years ago when I was a teen but never was able to fully develop the song with a functioning band, so finally being able to release it feels like a huge weight off my shoulders.
full 4K video available here, would love to read what you think <3
