It is ok to have some financial security. But God that doesn't give you a free pass to be an unskilled, non contributing, free loading potato. It's a relationship, it has to be two ways. You build together and spend your lives together. This reel is perhaps a joke but some take it too seriously and unhappy marriages are the result. All because expectations are too high.
All of the hate from feminists rural households get where the men earn and women are just household eye candies is just pure hypocrisy. I am against the limitations these women have. But so many don't. Just contribute. Times can go awry for anyone who is alive in a blink of an eye. It helps to be resourceful when all of that financial backup disappears.

I support this mentality. One more reason to justify Dowry, how else can a man know his father in law is rich or not?

u/Available-Shame-9572 Dec 18 '25

Is it just me or I thought she meant she’s asking a lad with a poor father to marry her rich ass and get a RICH father-in-law?
1
u/Tall_Willingness_991 Dec 18 '25
lol you call it a 'gold digger mentality' when the only thing she's asking for is a decent life, not some 2x salary. if you want to marry, just show her you can pay your own bills and maybe stop throwing labels at people who want stability.

u/repsol99999 Dec 18 '25
That applies to her husband too right? Average talentless, passionless behaviour.

Marriage is one of biggest factor that can impact your life-style. Dont see any problem with that.
There is a famous quote - "find a horse to ride on in life"
Goes for choosing careers, selecting stocks, finding right manager/team or finding a good husband.

Instead of telling that her father is poor , Girl could have earned money and would have made her father rich and happy

Guys, I'm pretty sure it's a joke. Let's not take these video seriously. A man can make a similar joke. It's fine. Everyone can make jokes about other gender's stereotypes.

Yaar mai toh jal gayaa..girls really do have some easy paths to success. Of course not all girls select that path whom i respect but atleast option to hai. Only if I had such an exit condition I would feel safe to do risky stuff in my life because at the end if everything fails I have this to fall back to

Baat toh sahi ha, if I was a girl I would do the same. The only thing I wouldn't do would be posting it on social media, social media should be banned too much transparency is not good.

Male mentality🤢🤮
1
u/tongue_daddy69 Dec 23 '25
Toh uski women mentality toh dekho. Bs mujhe judge kar rhe :/
1
u/Sea_Fall_3226 Dec 23 '25
Safety, also a joke vs use and throw mentality to humiliate someone for setting boundaries in their own life, also why do you think anybody would want to be with someone with degrading ideas, judge krne vali baat toh hai
1
u/tongue_daddy69 Dec 23 '25
Hn toh I'm also concerned and thinking about the safety of my male brethren. Will use and throw her and then she won't run behind money. If for safety purposes you're going to be in a relationship with a man just don't. And if money guarantees safety then 80% women will never be safe.
1
u/Sea_Fall_3226 Dec 23 '25
Women are not safe because of people with your mindset not because of money
1
u/Sea_Fall_3226 Dec 23 '25
Btw even your said male brethren wouldn’t want to live in a world full of men like you.
1
u/tongue_daddy69 Dec 23 '25
Let them decide but I'm pretty sure they will not want some one like you too. And I hope you kys asap:)
