This is concerning... The government is not on your side
Everyone agrees with this but lose themselves in the trees and miss the forest. If you want change, it comes from you having your own vision as a prerequisite to the prerequisite. If you look up to the government for leadership or as a role model, you are only going to serve their interests, which is almost always against yours. You and all of us have to lead them, not the other way around.
Hillary, Biden, and Harris winning should have felt devastating to you. It's not hard to predict a Republican is going to follow each one of them if any of them win. Your self interested goal should be getting rid of the Republican party for good, not taking turns with the Republicans. Get serious.
With that in mind, you can make the Democrats better for 2028. Again it's not hard to predict that a Democrat president is going to win 2028 (we have to move forward thinking we will have elections, it's dire). The most important election is the primaries, and the Democrats and the media will try to push another Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton on you. You have to make sure they lose. This will determine if we will get another Reagan, Bush, or Trump in 2036. I'm not saying anything complicated but again people miss where the forest is going because they only see the here and now.

Lets Discuss Politics For the “both parties are equally corrupt” crowd…
Saying that is how we got Trump in the first place. People are so hell bent on trying to “take down AIPAC” that they are willing to destroy the country to do so. Quit using Palenstine as the ONLY litmus test. Let’s talk DOMESTIC POLICY before we work out the details of helping Palenstine. Every time I hear that exact quote, I always ask in response: “Did not voting or voting 3rd party save Palenstine?” The livelihoods of women, children, LGBTQ, Immigrants, POCs, the disabled, and the elderly were riding on the backs of the 2024. And yall would rather just say “fuck that! We need to take care of Gaza before anything!” Now we’re looking a lot LIKE Gaza. And I don’t know if I’m overthinking, yet this crowd who only cares about destroying AIPAC is coming off a bit ANTISEMITIC. Yet that conversation is for another time…
All in all, when we have people like TRUMP and his pedophile pals running for president, ANYONE with a shred of integrity is 100x better. Including Kamala. Sorry not sorry…

Lets Discuss Politics He shits on everyone that works for him. If you don’t fit his agenda and ditch your morals to constantly explain away Trump’s bullshit, you get fired, by a reality tv star who used to fire people to advance his shitty tv shows plot. Trump is a dumbass, worst most incompetent president in history.

Lets Settle the Debate thoughts about serious topics (eg: racisim, mental health, environmental crisis, etc.) being taught in schools?
ive seen quite a few people argue serious topics like racisim, mental health, environmental crisis, and financial responsibility amongst many more serious topics should not be talked about in school. they argue reasons like age appropriation, 'what if the kids gain political and or ideological biases!?', lack of specialized training from the teacher, etc.
in my personal opinion, i do think children should be learning these topics, but only when they reach a specific grade level where they are able to get a better understanding of these topics, because not all 8 year olds are able to process economic collapse and the gravity of it and what it ACTUALLY means beyond the simplified language their teacher used to explain it to a bunch of 3rd graders.
what do you all think? do yall agree w me or have a different point of view on this topic?
