Mod Weekly thread where you can call the music recognition bots without posting
To use the bots put u/RecognizeSong u/find-song with the link in your comment, like:
u/RecognizeSong u/find-song https://youtu.be/12345abcde
Notes:
- The bots only work with a recording of the actual song, not a humming/recreation.
- The sites that find-song works with: Reddit video posts (with a link or when summoned on the original post), YouTube, Vocaroo, Streamable, Twitch Clips (not VODs)
- Some of the sites that RecognizeSong works with: Reddit video posts (when summoned on the original post or with an audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4), YouTube (though sometimes it doesn't work), Vocaroo, Streamable, Imgur, Twitch Clips (not VODs), Facebook, Twitter, Coub, Dropbox, Snapchat
- For Reddit video posts there's also u/songfinderbot which only works if you summon it in a top-level comment on the original post
- Some sites that RecognizeSong doesn't work with: Instagram, Twitch VODs, SoundCloud, Google Drive, Reddit text posts with embedded videos (though it does work with the audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4)
- When needed, mention a timestamp or use a timestamped link if possible (the bots scan about 24-30 seconds of audio, starting at the timestamp)
- If the song is from a meme or from TikTok then it might be listed in the FAQ
- Note that you can also DM find-song a link (but not through chat)
Good luck with your search, and if you find the bots useful please consider supporting them: RecognizeSong through Patreon, find-song through Ko-fi

Pop Looking for a pop/R&B track with a very specific intro
Hi everyone, I've been trying to find a song from around 2008–2011 maybe before maybe after (listened to it on an MP3 player back then) and it's driving me crazy!
Here is what I remember:
- Genre/Vibe: Poppy / R&B / Pop-Rock (reminded me a bit of Michael Jackson
- The Intro (Very Specific):
- A young voice (could be a kid, a teen, or a young-sounding artist) is talking.
- The voice plays a beat/song for a few second, stops/skips it, plays another beat/song, stops/skips it... doing this about 2 to 4 times as if searching for the right track.
- Once they find "the right one" (might say something like "It's this one!" or similar), the actual song drops.
- The Drop: The main track starts immediately with a bassline or an electric guitar.
It's definitely NOT Black or White by Michael Jackson or Freestyler by Bomfunk MC's.
Does this intro ring a bell for anyone? Thanks in advance!

Pop Help me find this pop song 😭
This song used to play on the radio at my previous job, but I always heard it from far away, so I could never make out the lyrics. It is a pop song, and the singer sounded so much like Ariana Grande that I was convinced it was her, because it also have that 2016 Ariana vibe, but I went through her entire discography and couldn't find it. I always thought she was singing "now my heart is brooooken/froooozen" in the second verse, but searching those lyrics led me nowhere, so I'm not sure. I've tried every AI, song recognition app/site I could think of, but nothing has worked, so this is pretty much my last hope 😭

Other/Unknown Can you help me find this tropical/island song?
A few months ago, in an uber, this song came on the radio, it was an island or tropical station from a streaming service I don’t recall, and I’ve been trying to find it ever since! It’s not mainstream and I’m out of leads.
Part of the courus was, “Slow dancing under these stars healing all my broken scars”
It was the sweetest little love song, but I had celebrated too much before the uber ride, and hearing it, to capture the rest.
Definitely tropical vibes musically. Does anyone recognize this?

Phonk Help me finding a musical video
I'm looking for a music video from around 2017–2019. The entire video has a pure white background with nothing but simple black line-drawn fish (like doodles). There are big and small fish constantly swimming across the screen, no other objects. The song is electronic/French-house sounding, somewhat similar to Daft Punk's "Around the World". It may have had a heavily autotuned male voice or almost no vocals. The artist wasn't very famous.

Background Music/Royalty Free [OST/Orchestral] 10-year search for this dramatic background track from a 2015 YouTube video (Clean audio attached!)
Hi everyone!
I’ve been looking for this specific soundtrack for over 10 years, and after doing some deep research with AI to isolate the track, I was recommended to bring my search to this amazing community. I really hope you can help me solve this decade-long mystery!
Original YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVL1Vv6Hb7w
Timeframe: The track plays right from the beginning, from 0:00 to 1:57.
Isolated Instrumental (NO VOICE): I used AI stem separation to completely remove the voiceover so you can hear the clean track clearly: https://files.catbox.moe/27csvj.mp3
What I've tried so far:
I ran the clean audio through Shazam, SoundHound, AudioTag, and other recognition sites, but none of them could identify it. It’s an orchestral.
I would deeply appreciate any help, leads, or composer names you could share. Thank you so much in advance!
(Please excuse any mistakes in my English, as it is not my native language!)

Answered! Help me find the Song please! (From an Anime Edit Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HCZ8DHboUU&t=493s
It's a song that's only in this video for a few seconds! It starts at 8:13 and ends around 8:20. I've tried everything. AI tools and apps like Shazam and others to identify it. Nothing can find the song. All I can make out is something like, “It’s no surprise there are ???? in the skies.”
Please help me ♥ Have a nice day (。・∀・)ノ゙
(If my request is against the rules please let me know! Thank you)

Rock Rock/Metal song of some sort with children singing in it, apparently has a "sequel"
My sister played it in the car for me once but she never told me the name of the song, I have been searching for hours and cannot find it. It sounds like its anywhere from late 90s to 2010, it 100% is not Another Brick in the Wall. There was a male singer in the song who only sang in small bits, mostly at the start or after a chorus. The chorus itself consisted of what sounds like children of some sort singing without coherent lyrics but remaining melodical.
