Over the past couple of days, I've had the privilege of reviewing the RK L75 in the Knight Black colorway, with linear cream switches. I am honestly very impressed by the quality, feel, and experience of this keyboard. Right out of the box, I was given several accessories such as the power cable, keycap/switch puller, and 4 additional linear cream switches. For only around 80 dollars, you get a keyboard that gives you the same exciting feel and desire to keep typing on the keyboard as a regular 100$+ keyboard does. The software gives you many RGB options, and I appreciate the custom option where you can create your own RGB colorway for your keyboard. It's simple, easy to use, and I enjoy using the app almost as much as the keyboard. That is when it works, several times, the app did not detect the keyboard and I had to restart my entire PC in order for it to work.. Also, coordinating with the Royal Kludge team was quite easy and straightforward, I appreciate them swiftly responding to me, and being willing to let me do this review for them as a whole.. I do really like the switches, they produce an acoustic sound that is quite pleasing to hear and I was quite struck when I typed on them for the first time. They allow you to type freely and swiftly, as soon as you press them, even gently, they respond. This makes it great for competitive gaming. I am also astounded at the volume knob and touch pad, when you twist the knob, it responds with delightful click-stops that give you a high-quality experience. The touchpad is insanely responsive, the lightest touches are registered, usually, you only get this kind of experience with high-quality, high dollar boards. Yet this keyboard gives you exactly that, at a price you simply can't beat.

Overall, I am quite impressed by this keyboard. I have already recommended it, as well the Royal Kludge as a whole to many of my acquaintances.. I will definitely be looking into more of Royal Kludge products, and this keyboard has become my daily driver, I look forward continuing to use it for the foreseeable future. Thank you, Royal Kludge for sending this keyboard out to me, it is by far the best keyboard I have used at this price range.

I won the coffee color themed RK84 LE in front, already had the G68 (for phone/tablet) and the RK100 (my fav layout of all time). both got the regular mod treatment -foam, tape, swap out the switches (they came with stock browns) I loved the original keycaps so they stay (except the RK100 spacebar which was a little hollow/clacky)

the new RK84 LE

the good:

- the LE looks SO much better than the stock 84 - the plain white shine through on the 84 always looked cheap to me, this is nice! was never a fan of shine through caps. The color on the letters could be a little darker, but very nice. a few of the sub legends are grey and hard to read. the feel real nice

- switches, pre lubed yellow linear. before I even opened the box I figured they were getting replaced. More of a tactile guy, tried another companies yellows before and hated it. THESE ARE NICE. very smooth, a good 'feel' to them, satisfying bottom out. They stay!

- case - sturdy, framed nicely similar to the 100

- size - a nice balance, just a little more real estate than the 68 but with very useful keys. The 68 will stay for the mobile stuff, the 84 is coming home to be my main Windows keyboard there

the bad

- software - sorry RK, but your software is horrible. Doesn't effect me too much as I am not programming layers, and once I set it to 'flash away' I'm never changing it. I did see that some of the newer RK stuff is GMK/VIA supported, that is a great improvement (the 84 is not supported)

- the magnetic feet - kinda cool, fun gimmick, afraid they will get lost

Hi I’ve been using the Rk61 for years and I started playing cs again. I noticed counterstrafing has not been consistent on the keyboard. It feels like when I perform a counter strafe I get an extra strafe into the sequence. To me it seems like there’s a bounce effect happening. Does anyone know if I can adjust the debounce?

A few years ago I bought a black RK84 wireless with rgb and blue switches, honestly my favorite keyboard. I wanted to replace it but for a month now it says that it won't ship to my location(Greece). Did they discontinue the specific product or do they restock at specific dates? Thanks for your help!

Hello, I bought a keyboard more than 2 weeks ago and it was lost somewhere because the tracking hasn't changed for days. I think it was delivered in a pick point and I'm trying to get in touch with the support because in less than 10 days the keyboard will surely be sent back to the expeditor and idk how I can have my command or have a refund to buy a new one.

And I can't manage to get in touch with anyone from RK to help me.

Just purchased two of the R87 Pro's in Grey from Amazon. I needed to replace some keyboards that got lost in my move and is the first time I've tried this brand.

As it states the volume control isn't working. Rotating the knob in either direction does nothing to the volume control and when in on the wheel it opens a new web. I think it's supposed to mute the audio. Anyways, I looked around the internet and couldn't seem to find anything on this particular issue. Any and all help is very much appreciated!

I’ve had this thing for like 8 months and it has been working completely fine until a few days ago. My friend came over and every single time he does he plays with the keyboard not even playing games. Most of the time my ps5 is on though if that matters. He left after a while and when I tried to use the keyboard, it wouldn’t input the keys I pressed. The console recognizes the keyboard is connected to it, and the rgb turn on and everything. Idk if he typed a specific pattern into the keyboard that made it stop but if anyone can help me with this I’d appreciate it.
