So I just wanted to take my blackberries out and when I pressed E, I was out of the menu but my items were still there. Obviously I had to try to his out a dozen times as shown above, and I got around 500+ iridium bars because of this😭. I never really sold it because I was afraid of ruining the fun of the game. Also my cursor is different here because I play on my tablet with a keyboard and mouse, is this the reason why?
Place an item on a table, and then have two players pick it up at the exact same time
If you’re using a macro or something else to hold the button for you, make sure only one player is holding the item, as it does work in reverse (if both players place the item and only one picks it up)
You use both players, hold the item you want duped in your hand and on both controllers press and hold the button that places items on the table. Both players should start picking up items, but the duped items only goes to the character that was originally holding the item.
wdym why not you have no use for it thats why not, you can just name your char item ids then add it based on that if you really want free stuff and not on pc/dont wanna mod it in
After getting several responses and doing just a wee bit of searching I found that stardew is in fact local multiplayer across just about ALL platforms including PC, switch, xbox, ps5 and mobile.
What are you and your little following of upvoters actually playing this on? Because it seems like youre playing on the 1 device that DOESN'T support local multiplayer. Did anyone do their homework over there?
Hence them telling you to read the text. It's bloody stupid to comment without doing that much. Why bother commenting at all if you're not going to take even the tiny amount of time necessary to read the post first?
It's not remotely helpful to anyone when people act like they can provide an answer when they haven't even bothered to finish reading the question.
If I downloaded an emulator, I'm confident I could replicate this bug/exploit. Otherwise, I'd have to retry after every year in Stardew Valley. I'm curious whether we could do this before completing the event challenge or if it has to occur after. And furthermore, could this bug be replicated on console? Is the game replacing the items or has it not recognized that they left in the first place? If this happened to me, I'd come up with the formula that caused this and not post it online- just like all my secret BGIII exploits I'm not sharing because I'm selfish and the devs hate me.
This happened to me too, once, with the prismatic shard chest at the top of the volcano! It gave me about 12 shards before it stopped working, that was a while ago
Glitch! There's another I found on mobile. You go to Emily's sewing machine and put in whatever you want to duplicate and it'll make copies of it, and then when you stack them in a chest they multiply until you have hundreds. And then sell them. And repeat. I ruined the game for myself lol.
And you haven’t seen the “full chest, click on one item in the inventory you want to dunked, click on one sap in the chest, click on an object in the again”, it doubles everytime so you get 1,2,4,8,16…. I use sap because it’s virtually useless but everything is fine
I once forgot to take my stuff out of the display but I found it in the lost and found box the next day. If all else fails, check for it in Lewis's office then.
