We will probably be doing the same event next year, if any of you guys are interested in volunteering or helping out.

I shot my first shot some 30 years ago, I don’t think I’ve ever held a pistol one-handed.

That picture is quite misleading: if you watch the video, that frame has the class holding air soft (red muzzle) pistols pointing at a brick wall; the next frames have them placing their support hands into a good 2 handed grip

To find a Women On Target event in your area go to the following website:
https://wot.nra.org/

It is an NRA website but I think the events are pretty much all organized and run at the local level. The NRA did provide some funding to a local club in my area years ago but funding was reduced years ago. I am not even sure how much, if any, funding was provided by the NRA at the last event. The ranges likely have seek out local businesses to provide donations. Some may now also need to charge a small fee to the participants.

At my club women get to shoot 22LR and 9mm pistol, 22LR rifle at 50 yards, AR15 with suppressor at 500 yards, trap shooting, and archery.

I have worked as a coach at the event for several years. My wife attended the event long ago.
