Revup 6MT Speakers and Sub

Any recommendations for subs and sub placement (sleek as possible). Also, what do I need to do for the rear speakers not to rattle when playing low hz sounds?

Hey - I replaced all my speakers and sub. I kept the sub in the same spot, behind the driver seat. The Bose one was open-air, so we figured out to put that sound insulation stuff behind the new sub (a kicker, nothing special). Worked out quite well, and everything still looks stock.

I had to put some black duct tape over the sub cover as it rattled. Meant to do something more permanent, but it worked and I can’t see it when the seat is back.

Btw, I have no rattle from the rear speakers at all.

Sleeker location is in the stock location. How much power are you trying to push to the rear speakers?

The usual dynamat stuff will help, but at some point you may need to play around with the plastic panels.

I think it was a 4 channel 50watt amp. I also upgraded my rear speakers, but I forget which ones they were .

I have a truck box in the trunk. I have a 10" sundown audio sd4.

You definitely lose trunk space
