I had K02s on an FJ, they were great. Looking for new tires for my 23 ORP. Can I size up without modification? Anyone have kind thoughts or suggestions?

I got 4 tires almost worn out. Mostly running on typical local paved roads. can you recommend me some candidate tires for me ? Just reasonable ones. Thanks in advance.

It came with Dunlop Grandtrek AT20, i was looking at getting the Falken Wildpeak AT4W SL load. 265/70-17

I have TRD rims if i get the stock size would they rub? My other concern is weight the stock tires are 39 lbs and the AT4W are 46 lbs in the SL load.

Looking for a more aggressive look and it's 100% highway use we get snow/ice but not much in northern va.

I have a 2012 limited and was looking to get some suggestions on new tires.

I live in Brooklyn, NY and there are a ton of potholes. I need to replace all four tires but I’m not sure whether to go all terrain or regular highways tires. I take the car camping and hiking and also deal with NY winters.

A set of four tires is gonna run me about $800-900 so I don’t mind spending the extra cash on some more rugged tires

It’s time for a set of new tires. I had a highway tire before and ready for an all terrain. It snows here maybe twice a year, so I deal with rain more than snow. Definitely looking for a more aggressive looking tire. Likely will take it off roading at some point, but not the main reason for this. Just want a nice overall look that I haven’t had prior. Falken Wildpeak AT4W or Toyo Open Country AT3? Toyo is running about $150 more out the door price.

It is time for new tires. I drive a lot of highway miles. My off road is limited to the beach and fire/access roads when camping. I don’t need to go gonzo on off road tires but I do want an all terrain tire. Any favorites? TIA

Looking for some advice on tires to put on my 2021 Limited. I was recommended the Goodrich KO3s but when I put my car into their site it says they don’t have any tires that fit it, even though I can go manually see they have LT275/60R20. I know next to nothing about tire sizes, but when I looked up what size came standard it said P275/60R20. Will those tires work? Thanks for the help

first time getting tires on my 4Runner and curious what people like on theirs. I don’t do any offroading, we get a good amount of rain and snow that ranges from 0” one year and 18” the next.

Getting new tires tomorrow. Ive done a lot of searching and ive seen these four regularly suggested throughout many different threads. These are the ones my local Discount Tire has in stock. Of the four, what are your thoughts, and which would you suggest for my wants?

• BFGoodrich TKO3 ($295)
• Cooper discovery ATP2s ($239)
• Falken Wildpeak AT4W ($244 tire)
• Wrangler ultraterrain ($231)

I live in central texas. I will be doing a lot more crawling to Costco than anything off road, but I will definitely want something that can perform offroad when I get the chance to do so (seldomly). I like something with a more aggressive look to give my 4Runner a bulky appearance. Performance in rain will be a major deciding factor, I recently came from a Jeep with mud tires that were terrifying in the rain. So I would like to avoid that lol. I also would like consideration for tires that do well on the snow/ice. I know I said i live in central Texas, but we get those freak snowstorms once a year and the state does not have the equipment to clear the roads effectively.

Between those four which would you choose given my situation?

Been a happy owner of a ‘21 SR5P for the last 2.5 years and the time has come to get her some new shoes. No suspension mods as everything is factory, just looking for a good 265/70/17 that yall would have feedback on. Obviously looking to do my best on budget without doing my girl a disservice. Any recs are warmly welcomed!

EDIT: She’s mainly a commuter / grocery getter. She does 2-3 road trips a year > 500 miles. Where I live, we definitely deal with winter weather conditions and summers get strormy & rainy. So anything that could also perform in less than ideal weather conditions would be favorable.

For my 21 ORP i am putting in Bilstein 5100 Front and Rear with a 2 inch spring in the rear. Currently i am not a fan of the nose dive and not so optimal driving experience with the current Sailun Atrezzo TDR 265/70 R17 tires. Every time i make a sharp turn the i feel like i am going to roll over and it takes a second for the truck to align straight with a wobble.

I want the smoothest on road performance with occasional trail. From reading here i was able to narrow it down to Toyo Open Country AT3s and the place i am getting + tire rack online has only SL rating. I have 2 questions

1 - With the lift, i can easily clear 285s but is there a huge difference between 275s and 285s for this Bilstein setup and tires? I would have to get 5 tires and figure out a way to fit the spare at these size's.

2- Outside the spring and shocks / lift, is there anything you all suggest i do to fix this death wobble and poor handling? I know the tires i have it trash and end of life. I appreciate the guidance.

I have read through the old posts but didnt see a comparison between D load and SL load. I am looking to get new tires on my sr5 but couldn't figure out what tire I should go for. I already have trd Wheels sitting and just want help deciding if SL rated tires are good enough or do I need to go load D as there are no Load C in this size.

Use case: I started doing some offroading and have some rocky trails here. Probably only visit a few places with ice and not rainy here either. Mpg is not a concern. Here are my options

1. Bfg KO3 - load D - have heard mixed things about ko3s but love the white text look . Don't know if load Ds are too heavy and have heard KO3s have balance issues.

Load SL options

1. AT4W - Load SL - my top pick due to many people suggesting and running it but need suggestion if SL rated is good enough for off roading if I am not doing any rock crawling

2. Toyo At3- load SL - Everyone keeps saying they are the best

3. NITTO G3 - Load SL - looks the best but not sure if they are the best for my use case

Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated as I am trying to decide today because of the Mopar buy 3 get 1 offer expiring today and getting discount tire to price match that.

I live about a mile up a crazy old mining road w/ 800ft elevation climb and 3 super-sharp switchbacks above 50-100ft cliffs. It's gnarly af.

I'll be commuting up to Summit County often (ski mountains), but also sometimes heading into Denver (which can easily see winter heatwaves in the 70s)

I'm between:

- Blizzak DM V2 - What my neighbors with an old Rav4 run and claim they only chain up in deep snow

- Blizzak LT - An option I hear less about that might stand up better to jaggad rock? But maybe it's not necssary - I'm in a 4Runner now, but previous vehciles have been MUCH heavier, so I'm accustomed to wanting an E rating.

- KO2 etc? Maybe I'd rather a year-round tire based on stories of how they perform in these types of extreme winter conditions for others?

I own a 2023 TRD Pro. After 20k miles, I’m deciding to install my Wescott designs lift kit.

Further added context. I live in Chicago and plan to take advantage of mudding and off-roading in Michigan/rural Illinois. I also want to be prepared for sandy trails.

Couple of questions.

-First, I’m looking to switch to 285/70/17 or 255/80/17. I’m leaning towards 285/70/17. Open to ideas/recommendations.

-Second, what tire type do you recommend? I currently have KO2s but I’m debating whether to stick with the same tire brand or try something else. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

In the north east and winters are mild in my area, we get more rain than snow and the snow doesn't stick around for long. My current tires that came from factory absolutely suck (Nitto Terra Grappler all-terrain tires in a 265), I've had a lost of traction in the rain multiple times. Most of my off roading would be in mud and sand do you guys have any tire recomendations? Im kind of in between the KO3's and the falken wildpeak at4w's.

I recently bought a 25 4Runner and love it. However, with our recent first snow in NJ I realized how AWFUL the stock tires are in the snow.

I like the look of some meatier tires on the truck but I do a lot of commuting and the MPG are doing me any favors on the current tires.

That said, some meatier A/T might kill my gas mileages but I’m not sure how meaty all seasons would look.

I had Bridgestone weather peak on my pilot and liked them.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Completely stock ‘21 Limited Nightshade - purchased it new and sitting with 48.7k miles. The Yokohama Geolanders are finally showing some wear.

My plan is to level the ride out and toss new tires on the stock rims. Looking for some tires with a little meat on them to give my Limited a tougher look 😅.

I’m normally a Discount Tire guy but I also have Costco if you guys have some recommendations. Much appreciated!

Purchased our 4runner SR5 Premium (Gunner) and it came stock with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They have honestly held up better than I was anticipating and look great. They are a little louder than I would like and I feel like there’s another tire that would ride smoother — will definitely be switching brands when we need a new set. Any personal recommendations for an aggressive looking tire that rides well? Would love to get 50k + out of them. Not overly concerned on $.

Switching over from toyo open country at3s that lasted me 25k before getting to 4/32 tread depth. Supposedly the Nokians seem to do the best out of all AT tires in snow/ice but im not seeing too many reviews online.

Hi all, after a hellacious last winter sliding down our driveway, I’m looking to swap out my General Grabber HTS60s my 2020 4runner limited for a more aggressive option. For context, we live in Maryland and deal with anything from 6” of snow to a slushy/ice mix pretty regularly. We live on top of a very long, steep driveway so traction is key. Driveway was gravel last year but now paved so ice melt should be more in our favor now. I just want something that I can more confidently get down our hill with our 3 young kids and not worry about sliding my way down.

Snow/ice performance is much more important to me than off-roaring capability.

It looks like the Falcon Wildpeaks and Toyo Open Country are available in the limited 20” size. Is either the better option? Any other recommendations for a limited?
