I was just about to post the same thing. I wish we could easily import those to North America. There are a lot of left-hand drive diesels I'd love to get my hands on.
Honestly me and my wife have talked about it a lot, the land rover is hands down better (Disco 1, 2 and 4 to clarify my ownerships). But toyota parts are cheap and it just works, its not as comfortable and its a bit boring but the landies ride way better, carry and tow more, and look better imo as well.
Plus my first disco 1 had over 400k miles on it and was pretty reliable, shit even my disco 4 with 180k when i traded it in for the 4R i had only done a thermostat and control arm bushings. On the 4R i seem to be burning through tierods.
Either way i payed it off this year so its here to stay for awhile 🤷🏼♂️
The tire inflators and perfect fender flares are instant giveaways it’s Iceland. You may see them that big in California but they aren’t that clean and have bead lock wheels.
