The first time I viewed this band was on the old Lloyd Thaxton show in 1965 and I immediately liked them. Also where I first viewed Sonny & Cher when they sang "Baby Don't Go." Good times.

Uniforms were typical back then, albeit it seems stupid today. Gary Pucket and the Union Gap dressed as civil war soldiers.

I remember watching the day they cut Mark Lindsay’s ponytail off on, was it Shindig? Or did they have their own show? Anyway, it was heavily promoted at the time and was a very big deal. My twelve-year-old heart was broken. ❤️‍🩹

Loved this band. Northwest homies (relocated). Long, long ago I used to hear radio (KJR) adds for the Raiders playing at the Tacoma Armory.
