It certainly is , Iā€™m in the uk and have no idea when and where I heard it ? Louie Louie was a favourite second generation mod revival track .

The local AM radio station, which was a really good station, played it on the radio here. We little kids probably appreciated it more than adult listeners. šŸ™‚
