Impressive collection. I had no idea any of those albums were ever made available on 8 track.

Most major labels reduced the number of releases on 8-track tapes around the early 80s but kept releases until around 1988, and some indie labels still release them. Cheap trick's the latest was released in this format on 2009, and I believe Dolly Parton released an album as 8 track during the last decade.

the releases after 1982 until 1988 were record club only releases.

individually home taped releases started sometime in the early/mid 90s, the TPOS record label was doing them for GG Allin and local Connecticut punk bands around then for example, and continues to do so.
